Personally, I'd still like to see Alan Curbishley manage us. I believe his time at West Ham was not indicative of his true ability and his Charlton history suggests he could be a good un for us.

An awful lot of people were singing Megson out/you're a wanker. There were grown men walking up the road shouting to anyone who would listen (no one).

Gutted tonight, had a few Megson give us a wave then he's a tosser brigade next to me, makes me cringe like already said be one or tother but get behind the team til final whistle.

 

Thought Taylor and Nolan looked absolutley fooked after 75mins, once again fitness seemed lacking. Basham seemed to give it away alot first half. Just went from being so good to soo bad!!

On Nolan however, i think a honest appraisal of what he brings to our side is called for - one that isnt coloured by the usual fat tw@t/talisman comments. My view? he's gone. Cant do it any more.

Back to the football, from what I have seen on MOTD tonight and so far this season - WBA and Hull are 2 of the 3 to go this season. So get behind the club and lets make sure we aren't the 3rd.

Let's be honest boys and girls we would have taken a point before the game tonight.

 

To lose a 2 goal lead at one of our most liked rivals is truly devastating.

 

However the positives are

 

An away point.

 

It breaks our losing run.

 

We didn't lose ground on our rivals.

 

3 of the next 4 games are at home 2 of those against teams around us and these games will define our season.

 

Breaks our scoring drought and 2 great goals as well.

I'm now blaming the idiots for our bad run.

How much of the shit we served up in the second half was due to the massive improvement in Blackburn - especially after their double change?

They got sent out early, obviously after the tea cup throwing of FSA at half time and got into us straight away.

 

Megson was trying to get us up the field from very early in the second half but Rovers had upped their game and kept us pinned in.

 

What Megson could have done better with was the change. Nolan and Taylor were dead on their feet, either one should have been replaced by Gardner with the simple instruction to stretch their defence and at least give us an outlet ball.

 

 

It was a classic game of two-halves. A point would have been acceptable before the game.
