Over the last 12 months i have developed a burning dislike for Newcastle. They change from one new massiah to another and one each occasion they spew out tripe bout what a big club they are and how uniue their fans are. The Keegn fiasco was a hilarious circus act!

 

The mis-management as a business takes my breath away. They are not special. They are no more pasionate than any other fans. They are fortunately geographically located so that they have a relatively large catchment area.

 

They apparntly don't have a contingency plan re players wages and contracts if they were rlagated. So arrogant are they

 

I really, really hope they get relagated. That for me would make my summer. I know it's quite sad to gain pleasure from anothers demise, but i can't help myself.

I personally gain no pleasure from another team's fall from grace.

 

 

 

That said, yes, I'd piss my sides if Newcastle, Boro and Sunderland all went down. It would put paid to the "North East of England Hotbed of Football" thing the press pack love to eulogise about.

They are a joke club, simple as that. However, I think Sunderland may just pip them to 3th bottom, above Boro and WBA.

Used to dislike Wolves & Tranmere but last few years, its been Newcastle for me, even before FSA went there

 

Individually, they are no more loyal than us or Rochdale fans, there is just more of them. They just don't buy that argument that there are other fans who support smaller clubs than theirs who are just as "passionate"

 

Will see how big their crowds are in the Championship, when they will be on the TV every week

 

Better for BWFC with a so called big fish going down leaving the likes of Stoke and Hull still in the Prem. I'm sure we could attract players over those two but not the toon

Agree with you 100%. I love the word 'schadenfreude'. Joy in the misery of others. A very sad emotion really but very human all the same. In Newcastle's case though they deserve it. They look down on us as a shit club (actual quote from their fanzine) but they are a total joke for all the reasons Worthy states. Unfortunately I can see them getting out of it thanks to Hull, Boro & Albion.
