Bwfc On Sky

Featured Replies

I don't know the exact stats but we have rarely been on sky this season and there's nothing in the offing. Now I know we are unfashionable and everybody hates us etc, but isn't there a minimum quota of live games that we should get. And another thing when we are on sky it's usually a home game anyway!

West Ham away was ont box :good:

Changed this season.

You get paid for a minimum number of appearances (thinks 5??) but you don't have to appear on TV for that said number of minimum games.

So a true reflection of our unpopularity...... sky are quite willing to pay us for 5 live games and show less than that?????

there's been a few home games on Sky but not many away games as SJM says only West Ham away springs to mind.

10, I think

It certainly affects the number of times Bolton are shown over here. Which has been very little and therefore a pain in the arse.

Sky TV - rulers of the universe.

Then move back over to a civilised country where it's easier to access matches in pubs (well, so I hear not that I know which pubs it's shown in or anything like that!)

If I was a neutral I'd hardly be putting stuff off to watch BWFC on Sky

Probably me neither but, obviously with hindsight, I bet they wished they'd picked Chelsea v Bolton last weekend!

We have not helped ourselves the end of the Allardyce era we were dross to watch, I now think our style of football has come on leaps and bounds, we are now prepared to concede a few to score a few and I for one am enjoying it again.

They didn't even pick as game of the day on football first and thats not done until all the prem results are in.

It would be nice so, us expat get a chance to watch them more often.

Home games no but with a wedding to pay for Away games on sky would be nice!

Don't have an over-elaborate money-wasting wedding then.

Couldn't do it any cheaper if we tried.

paying for the honeymoon with tesco clubcard vouchers :pardon:

Cheaper option.

Didn't Sir Phil of Gartside have a little winge a few months on the same subject with lack of live games and the effect it would have on future sponsorship.

Probably because we've lost the X factor. Back to a survival club with a bland journeyman manager to be honest. That's our new image i'm afraid. Plus the new strips awful and makes us look lower league.

Look if sky had its way it would be the big 4 and who ever they played, well a bit like it is now
