newquay central Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 owen is believed to be in talk s with munich scum .Think the glaziers check book s run dry .
nearlyeverywere Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 if,and thats a big if,he stays fit, then he will score goals.theres no doubt.they can afford to take the risk.
bwfc2003 Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 he could have one hell of an impact coming off the bench for them - bastards
superjohnmcginlay Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Real Madrid snapping every fooker up and United are signing Owen under the noses of Stoke and Hull
HomerJay Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 doesnt suprise me to be honest, still a top, top player, plus manure can afford to play him every other game and keep him fit.
superjohnmcginlay Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 doesnt suprise me to be honest, still a top, top player, plus manure can afford to play him every other game and keep him fit. Fergie has got him for the gee gee's (if they get him)
penfold Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 doesnt suprise me to be honest, still a top, top player, plus manure can afford to play him every other game and keep him fit. Won't get him can't see how he'd fit in
Fengshui Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 I hope he does well, even for them. There, I've said it.
wanderer28 Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 I hope he does well, even for them. There, I've said it. Well said! Even at the joke club it was a goal every two games. Played 30 games a season for the last two. Probably more league games last season than Tevez or Berbatov did! Will make an excellent 3rd or 4th choice striker, however would never had suited a team that needed him first choice every game.
Garrp Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Great thats him straight back in the England squad and off to the World Cup
jimmyjoojar Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 A lot of people will mock the Slags for this move, but come the end of the season I'm convinced this will be a great bit of business.
magic legs Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 I hope it comes off too - its good to see an unexpected bit of quick business like this, rather than the horribly drawn-out saga of Ronaldo to Real Madrid. It'll piss off the Liverpool fans too if it comes off, which can only be good.
YATESY Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Will be a good signing. Can see him taking on the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer role of coming off the bench getting many goals for them next season.
Boby Brno Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 hes down at Carrington to have a medical!!!! Well thats the end of that then!
Guest as Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Great thats him straight back in the England squad and off to the World Cup Correct (for once) :p
exiledwhite2 Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Have I logged on to Unitedways.com by mistake? Jesus
Warby78 Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 I suppose it's his last chance for a premiership medal! Cough cough splutter choke!!
Boltimore Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 It should wind up the Fat Spanish Waiter especially if he starts to score.
Big_Girl_Oral_Explosion Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Overated and passed it imo. one trick pony with his pace which he has now lost. Capello is right.
Carlos Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 (edited) United are one of the few clubs who could sign Owen to come off the bench, at Stoke or Hull he'd have been the main man. I don't think he's up to that physically any more. PS Means I've got to ditch my Owen and Beckham mousemat. Edited July 3, 2009 by Carlos
