A face mask is next to useless, you pick up colds and flu off surfaces with your hands. Its no worse (in fact it is usually not as bad) than the usual seasonal flu so I don't understand the panic in the media.

This little girl and doctor who have recently died due (they think) to swine flu. What is the usual death toll due to any other type of flu at this time of year?

Is the media trying to induce a little paranoia?

 

Just wait until the start of the football season. By then it'll be at fever-pitch and the sudden realisation that many thousands of people, stood within a few yards of each other, is a recipe for the biggest outbreak of whatever-they-are-calling-it-in-a-month we have ever seen. Worse, in fact, than the black death!

I've never had flu in my life, so I reckon I must be immune

i say suspected because the doctor wont see him, to confirm it!

 

told his mam, he should just stay inside and treat as normal flu.
