i thought we gave them a footballing lesson and were extremely unlucky.

great crowd tonight singing all the way through

Our season won't be judged on tonight, so I'm not to downhearted.

Credit goes to Chelsea, they played a great game, Bolton let them play with space and they took advantage and could of scored more, we had a few chances. If Taylor's effort went in instead of smacking Hilario in the face then who knows what may of happened.

Chelsea have been poor recently away and our 1st team have been playing well of late.

Saturday will be the game to judge if we have made improvements and at least those 4 goals don't do any damage to goal difference.

If i was Megson i would of played K.Davies, i know cups are good for rotation and resting players but against a top side we need our best players, i don't think Klasnic impressed, he hit the post late on but didn't do much, looked lethargic and his touch was very average.

We got the worst draw in the round and wasn't good enough on the night, lets move on.

Nothing more or less than expected. 'Chelsea have been poor away lately' is just wishful thinking. If we get anything from the upcoming game, I will be ecstatic.

Don't ever believe anyone who tells you money doesn't make a difference. Any sort of result against a team like that is a bonus.

Wankers, fcuk um. =D> We will have um on Saturday

SKD is unwell, apparently.

Just got back.

great travelling support, good day out im tired now....................

thoroughly enjoyed it even tho we got dicked........

30 minutes of Gary Megsons Superwhite army during the 2nd half being sang heartily by the MAJORITY

:drinks: :drinks:

Just back from that London,

0-4 was a bit harsh ,- we hit the post &had a few chances that maybe should have been hit first time , -& SKD was missed . But Chelsea were the better side & deserved to win .

A big plus were the supporters who stuck behind the team all the way through , with several loud renditions of "Gary Megson"s superwhite army "

No complaints

Just like to say hats off to the fantastic support last night at Stamford Bridge...... :hi: :D

Got home very very late as we had the worst bus driver in the history of bus drviers......

Got lost in London and then drove at 2mph the entire way back.

Like the previous post the fans were the only real plus point on the night, got behind the

manager and the players dispite their performance.

Lets now beat the Chelsea rent boys at the Reebok on Saturday !!! come on the Whites !!

Cracking day out, to many kids though, I hate half term, should they not be trick or treating or summut?

Got in at 6:00, still feel fucked now

It'd of been quicker mate.

I'm not sure of why it took so long, Zozzy will have to explain.

Knowing Zozzy he probably went via Lincoln on the way home looking for a Pub.

Poor result but great news re support and Megson said as much in his interview so all good on that front decent performance Saturday and keep the "feel good factor" momentum up.

Didn't go last night but out of interest to anyone who went, was Klasnic any good, how was Elmander looking fit?

as crazy as it sounds, elmander showed some tidy touches, the lad does have undoubted ability. but if its goals you want (which of course it is) then i dont beleive he's you man.

saying that he found space in the chelsea box a couple of times and if the cross was better, he would have had an attempt on goal. (probably missed, but still)

klasnic was quiet.

Klasnic was alright, hit the post in the last few minutes and ran around abit to begin with, was an average performance at best. I thought Elmander did ok and looked reasonably fit when he came on, setup M Davies for an effort but after that didn't really do too much. I think if SKD had of played we might of had a better platform to build on attacking wise, and after Hilario was KO'd the Chelsea defence may have lost abit of confidence, which SKD could have exploted better than Klasnic or Elmander.

Klasnic - 6 / 10

Elmander - 6 / 10

Watched in the Pub and Klasnic was tidy and neat but not much of a threat, hardly suprising though playing the lone striker role he is not quick or physical enough to trouble top defences, when he is played off Kevin Davies in a 4-4-2 is the time to judge him, he did play alongside Davies at Man U and they looked dangerous and this coincided with our best spell.

There aint many players in the whole league full stop who can play that lone role up front succesfully. Klasnic has looked really sharp and has linked up well with K Davies whenever he has come on but I agree with Mounts on this one, theres no way he will be succesful up front on his own.

TSO says, when Essein and Drogba came on who will defo be starting on Saturday, should Davies and Basham gone through them to make sure they wont be playing Saturday? As those two wont be in the starting 11 anyway?

IS that just TSO way of thinking?

Cheers - I'm hoping Elmander might stand more of a chance the way we are playing at the moment ie a bit more goal mouth action and more crosses but he's got to get in the team first and barring injury I can't see it.

No. Thats the immediate thought I had too

I'm sorry but Elmander's free-kick neatly summed up his time at Bolton. A fleeting moment of optimism as he put the ball down followed by the worst shot (and follow-up) I've seen for a while. I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the game despite the score, as others have said fans were good

We will never ever get rid of the anti Megson fannies who linger around like a bad stench......

I nearly came to blows with some absolute tosspot during the 2nd half last night. Whilst the fans who were there were fantastic even at 4 nil down last night

there are still some idiots who support Bolton and it makes my blood boil.......

IF ANYONE WENT TO CHELSKI LAST NIGHT SERIOUSLY EXPECTING A WIN THEN THEY ARE DELUDED AND DELUDED ON AN EPIC SCALE.

Really enjoyed yesterday as an away and the fans were fantastic from stsrt to finish. The Slug and Lettuce at Fulham Broadway was buzzing pre game and the travelling fans having a good day out. Lots of posters of here 'spotted', cant be arsed naming names

Im still optimistic of a decent season and we will win more than we will lose.

GARY MEGSONS SUPERWHITE ARMY =D> =D>

I was there last night and i'm not too down hearted about the result and it seemed that not many other Bolton fans were judging by the atmosphere, was a top effort from the fans, seems like Megson is finally winning over the fans. The big worry for me is our defence, it's all over the place at times, no matter who we're up against but we'll just have to stick with it until January and see who we can bring in. If we can keep creating plenty chances and putting a few away, we'll pick u more than enough points. Not expecting a result on Saturday but a good performance will keep everything ticking over for now

I'd have to agree Hughesy, great day / night overall, we had a quick pint in the Slug and Lettuce also and then the White Horse which was also very decent.

And I thought Megson put a decent enough side out for the anti-Megson people not to moan, I didn't expect a win tbh

but I am more hopeful for Saturday.
