Anyone know if the 3pm Kick Off is set in stone or likely to be made a lunchtime game (as used to be norm with "high profile" fixtures).

I can't believe Bolton are even on the same pitch as a massive club like Burnley and would give Gary Megson a knighthood for taking one point off them.A statue outside the Reebok at the very least.

It won't be nice, but it's the way it is because of the football and Megson. Hate sometimes gets in the way of support, when you remember what we have to watch the majority of the time.

 

It's not a terrible result, because Burnley have pulled of soem shocks and there home form is good, but that 2nd half performance will remind fans that this is what we are like most of the time and i guess it bring out back the hate built up for Megson.

 

I know we have 5 points from 3 games but our season has been really poor and games don't get any easier, we are in a relegation fight, it's not easy to forget that 3 years ago we won 5 in a row at Christmas and were top 4.

 

That is what pisses me off, i know our history, we have had worse, like lower leagues etc, but 3 years of demise sticks in the mind and anger and hate for the football and Megson comes out when things are bad i guess.

If you're going to be sarcastic at least try and be a bit talented about it, because that's the wankiest post I've ever seen on here. Which takes some doing.

If that is aimed at my post at that time, I wasn't moaning. It sounded like we were getting battered at the time and Sky also backed this up, not just Hillbilly radio. The comment about Knight was also justified. Radio and texts from several mates at the game backed the comment up. The guy has been poor all season.

For what it is worth I think the point is good because I didn't expect it. However, we must beat Hull on Tuesday.

I've been banned before for saying Megson out, so don't wanna go into detail to much, but these last 3 games have not changed my mind once, and that is a mindset by judgement not going off what other people say.

 

The current situation is like this, we beat West Ham - most people seemed happy enough, if Rob Green didn't mess up most people would of been angry again.

 

I thinks it's got to the stage, were we have no expectations or belief that only the odd/rare good performance or win papers the cracks, because in 3 years many fans belief and good feel about BWFC has been drained away.

The entire Bolton midfield on show today are lightweight and could not command a poor Burnley midfield and could not take advantage of being given the ball by the opposition. None of them one wanted to take the ball forward at pace when Burnley were exposed by their own poor play.

 

The defence except Cahill and Jussi are not Premier league standard. Our full backs are woeful.

 

Burnley were a poor team devoid of confidence but we were outplayed second half.

 

This is MEGSONS side and it is probably the poorest since we came up. given the money spent he should be strung up.

 

BTW I was around the centre of the Bolton fans and they got behind the team and only vented their spleen at Megson for baffling substitutions and at the end. His relationship with the fans cannot be repaired and he should go now. Having said that I believe he will leave us with a poor poor side. so some are correct who say that changing the manager will not help. however I would not give this guy any more cash to splash on useless defenders such as Knight.

 

The side lacks confidence and direction and quality, all down the the manager who has chosen poorly.

However, flicking between SSN, Radio Lancs, and GMR, they all said we were dogshit. One of the lads who went rang me during the second half and said he was cold and 'Smiffs, this is fucking wank'. His words not mine.

 

I reckon thats enough to form an opinion.
