October 28, 200916 yr all a bit gay but hey ho http://www.sport.co.uk/news/Football/29097..._VOTE_NOW_.aspx
October 28, 200916 yr Zat Knight has received 0% of the votes. Surely that can't be right. He shouldn't get that many.
October 28, 200916 yr Upson and Carragher are just hoofers, if we put one of them two with Terry we would ripped apart by pace every game.
October 28, 200916 yr More than likely, but Cahill's still not international class (yet). It sticks in my throat, but Rio's still better. As are Ledley King and Jonathan Woodgate (if ever fit!) Cahill could and should have done better with Everton's 2nd goal at the weekend, as definitely should Jussi (down to my knees first) Jaaskelainen.

Totally agree he's not as good as we make him out to be
October 29, 200916 yr Author Totally agree he's not as good as we make him out to be with the ball at his feet, he's as good as any centerhalf in the league, including ferdinand. but hes a defender, and there are better 'defenders' ahead of him.
October 29, 200916 yr If the ROI qualify for the World Cup he may throw his lot in with them to be able to play in the World Cup finals.
October 29, 200916 yr If he signed for the a top 4 team (or whatever the top # is now) he would be handed an England place straight away most likely. It's farcical (sp?) that he didn't get a see in with those last two games. He won't be at the world cup if he's with Bolton but there's no doubt he'll break into the team eventually!
October 29, 200916 yr If he signed for the a top 4 team (or whatever the top # is now) he would be handed an England place straight away most likely. Maybe, but he wouldn't be playing much football. I can't see that he would force his way into Arsenal, Man Utd ot Chelsea...........I suppose he might just get a sniff at Liverpool
October 29, 200916 yr Maybe, but he wouldn't be playing much football. I can't see that he would force his way into Arsenal, Man Utd ot Chelsea...........I suppose he might just get a sniff at Liverpool Probably. The whole city's riddled with coke.
October 31, 200916 yr with the ball at his feet, he's as good as any centerhalf in the league, including ferdinand. but hes a defender, and there are better 'defenders' ahead of him. and many of them
October 31, 200916 yr and many of them Today showed thats hes not ready to step up to international level yet
October 31, 200916 yr One or two shaky moments.... and he 'isnt ready' .... give the lad a break !!!! Thats his first, half shaky performance in over 12 months and people jump on his back.
October 31, 200916 yr The lad is very young and centre halves usually get better with age. He wasn't at his best today but nobody was getting on his back.
October 31, 200916 yr One or two shaky moments.... and he 'isnt ready' .... give the lad a break !!!! Thats his first, half shaky performance in over 12 months and people jump on his back. I'm not getting on his back,he will be an international one day ,but hes just not ready yet ... still needs a couple of more years to learn and grow into his game
October 31, 200916 yr I have a suspicion that Muamba will get an England cap before Cahill. Muamba played well today, got stuck in, passed the ball well when he had it
October 31, 200916 yr Muamba played well today, got stuck in, passed the ball well when he had it Muamba has been playing well all season
October 31, 200916 yr One or two shaky moments.... and he 'isnt ready' .... give the lad a break !!!! Thats his first, half shaky performance in over 12 months and people jump on his back. Terry showed today how an international centre half should play week in week out. But he wasn't tested much.
October 31, 200916 yr Muamba's a better player than Cahill. Wouldn't agree with that - both good players in different positions
October 31, 200916 yr I have a suspicion that Muamba will get an England cap before Cahill. pretty much a cert that for me. Cahill is only getting a call-up when other centre backs are injured and with Jagielka (who England FC rate above Cahill) due back to fitness soon, he's back down to 6th or 7th ranking. He doesn't do poor games (that's Zac Knight's department) but equally International centre backs don't make the mistakes Cahill slipped up with in the first half. Muamba is quality but too many boo boys (many on here) were not prepared to see his strengths - even when, admittedly, other parts of his game were struggling. With Hargreaves looking like a permanent sick-note, Muamba must be a good bet for the defensive midfield player for England in the future. Edited October 31, 200916 yr by YATESY
