Summary - We score in the 1st 10 mins then hold out and get battered the remaining 80. Megson blames fans for not winning.

I"d be alright with that team - on current form Gardner & Taylor shouldn"t play & Jussi is on borrowed time.

Dont be silly... <_<

according to the stats bods at Football365

Jussi Jaaskelainen has been credited with more saves than any other Premier League goalkeeper this season.

seems to suggest he's doing his job as well as can be expected of him.

When you have Gary Neville at right back kind of makes the journo's opinion void.

Why?

The man is a tool of the highest order but is probably the best right back of the last 10 years in the Premier League

Saturday is also Jussi's 400th League appearance for Bolton.

Not a great time for celebration, but surely the club will celebrate this?

First foreigner to reach that figure and first person in nearly 30 years, since Paul Jones.

Back on thread, 1-3. Never in it.

Doesn't that automatically enter him into the Wanderers Hall of Fame?

name a better more accomplished right back over the last 10 years

gallas was the big question mark for me

Why?

Correct on both counts Frank

1-3 or 1-4 cant make my mind up.

he's the worst kind of sportsman, a cunt but brilliant at his trade

0-5. Embarrassed. Predict I'll be in Manchester supping a pint of ale before the 5th goes in.

i predict a total bumming 6-0

I take it your not coming to Leigh Vegas than?

And for the record, 1 - 0 to Bolton, first clean sheet of the season but a scrappy turgid affair.

4-0 City , Bolton finish game with 15% possesion, booing starts after about 15 minutes. ATM i am not going, my hate for Megson and this pathetic football is getting in the way of me supporting them

It"s not shotstopping that"s the problem , but the other parts of goalkeeping like dealing with crosses , commanding his penalty area , distribution , & above all his failure to communicate with , or help the rest of the defence which has seen him involved in plenty of the defensive chaos.

With a reserve as good as Al Habsi , i don"t see Jussi as untouchable.

It aint jussi's fault the defence in front of him are shit. He's one off if not the best keeper in the premiership... to say he's on borrowed time is down right ludicrous...

3-1 defeat - our defence can't cope with their attack. Theirs, on the other hand, will do an adequate job on ours, no matter who we send out*

*prediction might change if that swine 'flu canister lobbed at the training ground this week does its job.

1-2 loss, we play well but not enough

jussi has be poor 'by his standards' lately, i think even he would admit that.

or maybe he would just blame sam ricketts.

i think jussi is still an excellent keeper

but, we've tried everything else bar dropping cahill.........
