Guest Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 (edited) He got quietly carded straight after we scored our 1st goal for gobbing it. He was unlucky to get the second yellow imo - i think he was caught and didn't dive, his reaction after the decision certainly backs this up. He didn't deserve to go, which makes it even funnier Edited December 13, 2009 by boltondiver
Didledee Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Good job Klasnic was not given offside, that was going in by Lee. A good point, shame other teams around us earned more or equal today. Once again though we can't beat 10 men, becoming a bad habit!

superjohnmcginlay Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 good performance today, we play like that here on in we will be okay
Dodgywheel Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 And not one of you have been back to concede that Robinson, although not plying his trade against SWP, put in a MotM performance today. He was certainly better than he has been of late. Your right micky, i will concede it was the best i've seen robinson play, but ( and it's a big but) i would also say that not playing against a winger made an easier saturday than it could have been for him and i thought he was missing when richards came forward and scored. He had a very good game, MOTM i wouldn't go that far.
ZiggyStardust Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 he was booked in the 11th minute (apparently) He was booked (quite rightly) for having at go at Clattenberg after our 3rd goal, which came from a throw in that was (quite wrongly) given our way. I lost count of the number of times today the ref gave a corner or throw in the wrong way, when it was quite obvious it was the other.
MickyD Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 According to SSN text he was booked on 12v minutes.
frank_spencer Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Good result. to score 3 and not win is unlucky, but when citeh can bring on ?40m+ in talent to change their team it's always going to be difficult. Bellamy getting sent off was piss funny. those boing the Klasnic substitution need to go and boil their heads!

Seemed strange to me but you or course have a superior knowledge of the game i guess
Carlos Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Why? maybe they thought it was a negative move to take off our biggest goal threat. Seemed strange to me but you or course have a superior knowledge of the game i guess Does one need a knowledge of the game to see someone is tiring because they aren't 100% match fit? Is it not totally fucking obvious and indeed common sense?
Casino Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 he was injured/fucked hence he went down the tunnel other than that it was a shite decision

Spot on Frank. I saw him go over to the bench and point at what looked like his hip or back, whatever it was obvious he had picked up a knock. Yet going out of the ground I heard one loud mouth shouting 'what type of crap manager takes their best player off and sends that prat on?. Sometimes I do feel sorry for Megson. Plus to all those with their 'Megson Out' banners please bring them to the next match. Somehow I think it will help ensure we beat West Ham, don't know why but it will and I think you will be hiding them afterwards.
Carlos Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 "Hopefully on Tuesday we can pick up from where we left off. Hopefully Klasnic is fit, because I'm being told I don't know what I'm doing when I bring him off but he had come over five minutes beforehand and told me he needed to come off." I think some people have already had their heads jammed in the microwave. That would explain why they are so obtuse.

As soon as Klasnic went off the cock two rows behind me started with "That's it, I hope we get beat now, Megson's a tosser" etc. He then left 10 minutes before the end of the most exiting match at the Reebok for may a moon. Better to have empty seats than tossers like that.
Whizz Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Great game yesterday. Some quality forward play and some equally as bad defensive play. Chung yong was quality. A point against ten man city doesn't really change anything though.

MickyD Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Maybe what's needed is for Reebok Voice to announce, "Ladies and gentlemen, Number 17, Ivan Klasnic has picked up a knock and would like to protect it for Tuesday by leaving the game. He will be being replaced by Number 9 Johan Elmander. All in favour say 'Aye' "

MickyD Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 But, as I said in my tonge-in-cheek previous post. If Klasnic coming off early means he takes part on Tuesday, great. If playing through the pain barrier means having to miss the Tuesday night game, you're talking through your arse!
worthy10 Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Some points - at least some of the players are behind Megson. Cahill clearly is (and rightly so given he's taken him from Sheff Utd to the England squad), I don't think Matty Taylor is. He's doing no one any favours playing like a cunt. We should have signed Elmander on loan and Klasnic permanently, not the other way round. Nice gesture from the players, lead by SKD, to give a united show of unity and applaude the fans together at the end. If Muamba could pass, he'd be world class. Bit like Anelka only scoring goals, all he does is win the ball, beyond that he's clueless. Gary Cahill needs to concentrate on defending when we are winning. if muamba could pass......... he wouldn't be playing for us, he'probably still be at arsenal?
Guest Biff Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 those boing the Klasnic substitution need to go and boil their heads! Is this something Megson brought with him from West Brom.
