I was in the same dilema with my 9 year old daughter, then I had the great Idea that I'd get her a puppy, but cant find one anywhere apart from pedigree jobs that they want a few hunded quid for, and I'm not paying that for something that is going to shit all over the polace and I am going to have to feed.

Any one any suggestions where I could get one, will pay, but it only needs to be a crossbreed not a showdog or owt.

Tried the rescue centres but they want to come and audit your house now, told emI havent got time for that and whatever my house is like its better than the kennel the dog is in now but they would have none of it.

I got my little angel from there. The breeders/sellers are all checked. She's a crossbreed (2 pedigree parents but different breeds). I'd advise one of these as they've a tendancy to be pretty healthy & also you'll know what size they're going to be, not like a heinz 57. Though, come to think of it, they're usually a few hundred quid.

Oh & don't forget, they're for life & not just Christmas.
