God Bless him. I hope the journos who've been saying it's money hang their heads in shame!

Double the money at Celtic? Oooooh!

Nice bit about the fans there. Come to the games, kids! :D

Phil gartside "Owen is a very bubbly character and is infectious"

Unlike someone who has just left the club

Came across well then!

Didn't see the press conference this morning, I have just looked on Sky, BWFC and Bolton News websites and there's no transcripts - anyone got anything? I presume from comments above it went well and he came across with passion and enthusiasm, I like the fact he seemingly used "We" when answering questions. Any other details would be appreciated.

It'll be on the loop every half hour I would imagine.

Matey, I wouldn't get too excited about the use of "we".

Big Sam was on Radio 5 last night during a discussion on English Coaches and he repeatedly used the word "we" when talking about his time at Bolton and what "we" achieved thanks to his great knowledge of the game and modern methods!

Most managers use the term "we", its just our previous manager who struggled with it!

Granted, but much better than "I" or "this club"

Its saved on my Sky+ so I can review it in 18 months.

or when a recently departed manager refferred to people os 'pathetic' or 'them'

(although they were pathetic)

And Coyle used the word entertainment on numerous occasions.

Didnt Ian Greaves famously use the word once? Not sure it went down well then

often come back to that quote

laughable thing was greaves was arguing against just hoofing it upfield

He immediatly is using the term We, :good:

He says "so" quite a lot.

Garty said he was "infectious" more than once, like that's a good thing.

"Garty" also said that the club never failed to back a mnager in a transfer window.......ermmm, BSA we were 3rd in january ring any bells??

I was thinking along the same lines....

how much did garty/davies back sam with for anelka?

how much did garty/davies back sam with for anelka?

Other than Anelka, he was given practically no money to spend...

Perhaps they saw the players he wanted to spunk money on and told him to get to fuck?

considering our debt was about 50m and increasing and we are still in the premiership, you could argue that it was the correct decision?
