February 2, 201016 yr I'll tell you what happened A generic discount code was posted on one of the better know discount sites, this was then brought to the attention of the company So, the decision was taken to reverse the discount for anybody was not entitled to claim it A system search was run against all accounts that had the code applied, this was compared to all accounts flagged as eligible for the disount Any that didn't match were reversed, a briefing was rolled out to all Contact Centre advisers stating UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES MUST YOU REVERSE THIS CHARGE The decision was made by the board Then, at the last minute, after all the adjustments had been made, letters had gone out to account holders, and Advisers briefed, they changed their minds and allowed the discount on all accounts After that shambles, if the code is accepted when placing the order, it won't be reversed
