as its now a possibilty if he can

Stoke lad knew he'd done damage by feigning injury himself. He then realised what he had done and seemed genuinely upset. To me this was a ott challenge perpetuated by tony pulisis get stuck in at all

  • Arsene Wenger can fuck right off.   He didnt show any concern whatesoever about the tackles made by Gallas and Diaby which were ten times worse, and funnily enough he 'didnt see' either of them but

  • Did I say he was a two faced shithouse?   http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/article3649049.ece

What fucks me off about Wenger is that somehow he's been labelled with this "intellectual" reputation - just because he frowns and speaks in a hesitant foreign accent. We all know what would have happened if today's events had gone the other way - "I didn't really see it" or summat would have been his shrugged opinion.

He's a cunt, and the press's fawning treatment of him is symptomatic of the shite state that football's in.

Good luck to Ramsey though - it's good news for everyone when someone comes back from summat like that as it shows just what is medically possible :good:

Shawcross has been called up for England

Wenger will love that

Who was the decker who injured Campo?

Who was the decker who injured Campo?

Diaby, broke campos foot, campo came back on probably shouldn't have done.

Diaby also clattered Steinsson t'other year, bet Wenger forgets about that one too.

I have seen far worse challenges than that go unpunished. The injury was terrible, obviously painful, but sheer bad luck. 99 times out of 100, there would be nothing but a bit of bruising. Every intent in that challenge was to win the ball. Shawcross will now suffer Arsene calling for him to be banned for life (as every Bolton player who ever dared tackle one of his), and he could even lose his place in the England squad as a result. Of course, that all depends on what ban the FA hand down. Ramsey will be out for the season at the very least. I would fully expect Shawcross to feel the full wrath of the FA over this one- not that he in any way deserves it.

Wenger and especially Fabregas's comments regarding yesterday's injury and their treatment by referee's will go unpunished, but Davies has been charged by the FA for saying similar things, double standards. Wenger is a nonce he only ever is able to see anything if its against his own side, as pointed out already in this thread. Tosser

If that was Lofthouse, he'd have put a plaster on and run it off.

Tarts these days.

Shawcross has been called up for England

He's only been called up due to injuries to Cahill and the drug test avoider.

Watched it live over here, and said the same to the wife, no broken leg yellow, once the ref say the damage then he decieded red

what did the wife say?

Looked like a pure accident to me. Yellow card if the lad hadn't obviously got a serious injury. Ref bottled it.

From one angle, looks like Ramsey's ankle was turned over (studs caught in turf ?) as Shawcross tackle hit him.

Wenger & Fabregas comments show them to be the usual two-faced whingeing c*nts, and the FA won't dream of charging them.

Sky Sunday Supplement today - one journo : Teams go out to physically intimidate Arsenal & play outside the rules; Arsenal play pure football; Arsenal must be protected by referees against other teams.

Let's get this straight : Refs should be impartial; they should judge events as they happen, while knowing what the two teams usually get up to; they should protect both teams from intimidation or play outside the rules - Arsenal or their opponents. Any ref showing partiality to Arsenal or anyone else should be disciplined (as if !).

Was never a mailcious tackle in a million years. Wenger is a grade a twat.

ive not seen a replay yet, just the live footage.

looks shin on shin to me?

just plain unlucky.

his shin pad makes it look worse than it is

Wenger thinks there is a plot against Arsenal as 3 of his players have now had serious injuries caused by "robust" tackles. Does any football obessive type on here know how many serious injuries have been inflicted by Arsenal players in the same period?

his shin pad makes it look worse than it is

 The lads leg is smashed top fook and the shinpad makes it look worse!!

i 'like' to soee the video.

if thats the case, that lad must have glass bones!

it wasnt an horrific tackle as wenger says it was just a badly timed tackle after a bad touch , i broke a guys leg when playing football and it was similar to that. wenger has just made the incident 10 x worse with his comments

Was never a mailcious tackle in a million years. Wenger is a grade a twat.

Wot he sed, on both counts......

Nothing wrong with this, eh Mr Wenger...?

Sympathy from the Arsenal players...

And those who were there will have heard the Arsenal fans booing as he was being treated and cheering ironically as he was being stretchered off in agony.

Sympathy for Ramsey - most definitely. Poor lad.

Sympathy for Arsene/Arsenal fans - nope.

I wish him well with the recovery, Shawcross is perfectly entitled to go for that ball but got it wrong, it happens., He knew he had done wrong and deserved the red in my opinion.

Its not nice too see such tackles but if it is going to happen im glad its to those shandy drinking, glory hunting, mostly foreign north London Cunts!!!

what did the wife say?

Not a lot, she had her hands over her eyes, with the words that?s horrible, horrible, with my retort ?shit happens?
