Danny G Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Let out of Jail then!! Sure Faye missed on purpose!
HomerJay Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 fuckn crackin win!!! wiess changed that game for me. but top marks to taylor.
frank_spencer Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!! Weiss went down far too easily but as is always the case with these things i couldn't give a shiny shite!
Didledee Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 MATTY TAYLOR HAS JUST BECOME AN ABSOLUTE LEGEND !!! WE ARE STAYING UP ! :yahoo:
Didledee Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!! Weiss went down far too easily but as is always the case with these things i couldn't give a shiny shite! After what happened against Chelsea, we deserved some fortune our our own. 1st half we we're awful, 2nd half we came out and attacked and Klasnic could have had 3, then Stoke misses a few sitters, then the Taylor show! thank god Faye missed that howler in the last 2 minutes!
tylswhite Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 We can put this season to bed if we beat Pompey next week. Its been a gritty stop & start season and i will be glad when its over. Im looking forward to starting next season with more of Coyles signings and everybody behind the team and with a clean slate.
EyesRight Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Fair play to those who went, couldn't get down myself but fans sounded loud AS on t'internet, even when we were behind. Walking down the Manny Road had my speakers blaring. Hopefully a sign of things to come next season, onwards and upwards, get behind the team and lets see where we can carry them.
Didledee Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Stoke 1 - 2 Bolton Wish I put a bet on that! Anyone who is still not convinced of safety, we at least can't finish behind Burnley, Win against Pompey and that's it! BTW, I don't often say this, but Weiss did a lot more in his cameo then Lee did in the whole game! Saying that the 1st half was so bad, every Bolton player deserved stick, Coyle must have had words and the change of Klasnic and Formation gave us something to play with. I really don't know how Stoke missed 3 sitters, but I don't care, what a feeling!
Guest Frandsen08 Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 its a big weight off our shoulder, lost this and next week against pompey, would of been a nervy one

Didledee Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Didle should go back to school. I'll just say I was counting our goal difference as an extra point
Sweep Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!! Frankie, was that said in a Ric Flair type way?
juewanderer Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 I'm going for a Bolton win , based on the fact that we will (hopefully) want it more and therefore be more up for it. Please prove me right! Stoke 1 Wanderers 2 I also wish i'd have put a bet on.....great result for us.
Guest Biff Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 It was a good win at the finish. I think Coyle picked the wrong team for the game. It is OK playing that team against Chelsea when we are in a damage limitation situation but against teams like Stoke we should be playing two strikers. At least Coyle got it right at half time. We got into the game and Klasnik went close on three occasions two of which shaved the post. Second half we were the better team and deserved the win. The Faye chance mentioned in previous posts would not have counted as he was given offside.
richbwfc Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 What a finish. Probably my favourite 10 minutes of any football game I've ever been to. The way both the players and fans alike went absolutely mental showed just how much it meant to everyone. I somehow managed to cut my knee open from the wall on the front row in said celebrations. Onto the game itself. First half was absolutely shocking, disgusting really. Second half, just bringing Klasnic on gave everyone a lift and from then on it looked like when we were going to score not if. The introduction of Weiss was also a great substitution. For me he has to start next weekend instead of Lee. If we play the team we finished with, with the exception of Mark Davies for Muamba. I reckon we could hit Pompey for 5 or 6. Onwards and Upwards. WHAT A DAY. P.S Ginger girl with the big jugs gets a big thumbs up from me whoever she may..
Chris T. Church Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Just got back, great day! Fantastic weather, plenty of beer and scenes of joy. Got to Stoke on the train about 1 ish and got directed down to the student union bar near the station. Cheap booze, some nice student girls walking around and massives vs munchen on the big screen. Then bus to the game from outside. Got to say it was a really bad performance in the first half and deserved to be behind. Second half was better but lucky not to go two down. The fans were great (in the second half particularly), there was at least 1,000 there I reckon. Went absolutely mental when the two goals went in, the second was so unexpected and made up for some shocking away performances this year. After the game got the same bus back to the station and enjoyed the journey back (has to be said that there were a good few people getting a bit pissed off with the pissed up Wanderers fans on the train but I'm sure they'll get over it). MOTD tonight and a few bevs. COYWM!
