The 10 yellow card cut off point has passed I think. Although, someone I work with said their wasn't a date, it was when a team had played X amount of games.

Agreed - this is a game were we can almost guarantee safety? Have we become complacent about PL football? Is it because we have become to expect better things than battling it out at the arse end of the division?

I think it's a bit of both those.

But mostly a p*ssed off feeling about the absolute cr*p of the last 3 seasons or so.

Forgetting that, compared to the 80s, it's not been so bad ....... has it ?

Oh, and I'm afraid it's likely to be 2-0 to Stoke. Probably both from long throws.

Which will make Pompey at home MASSIVE, as others have said.

I hope I'm very wrong about tomorrow.

Fair point.

Since you are asking, I will go for a 1-1 draw too.

And in case you are wondering, the prediction thread has merged into here as it contained posts other than predictions.

If we can't deal with the long throws & aerial attacks we'll lose.

Cope with that stuff & we're as good as Stoke & should get a point at least. I'd be very, very happy with three points & the cheap boozers near the station sound good.

I'm going for a Bolton win , based on the fact that we will (hopefully) want it more and therefore be more up for it.

Please prove me right!

Stoke 1 Wanderers 2 :good:

Having said that ,these two little gems don't make for good reading

Stoke have gone 283 minutes without conceding a goal in the Premier League

? Bolton have gone 381 minutes without finding the net in the top flight
