Just got in after a most amazing game.

Like others have said and agree with the Biffster,

First half had to be the worst 45 mins ever watching the wanderers. We couldn't pass the ball to a Bolton shirt. All this launching the ball either 10 yards wide or 10 yards above Davies's head was a joke.

Why also we have to give Stoke a 45 mins start and Chelsea an 80 mins start by playing one up front is beyond belief. We have proved in the last 2 games that bringing Klasnic and playing 2 up front gives the opposition more to think about than us playing 1 up front and always being on the back foot.

Fair play goes to Coyley to change it at half time and bring Klasnic on.To see him get his shinnies on during the interval and be raring to go for the start of the second half was a big lift to all the wanderers.

First 20 mins of 2nd half was all us.Weiss coming on gave us a bit of pace and respect to Mattie Taylor who won us the game.Wilshere's energy was awesome and if we could get him on loan next season would give us a good base to work with.

Proud of all the wanderers fans who went today who sang there hearts out.

Also it was my daughter's 3rd every away game and she has a record of seen 3 won 3 west hame and blackburn the others so she is our lucky charm.

To see the joy on her face when the winner went and lifting her 10 foot high will live long in the memories.

Let's see if we can finish unbeaten in the last 4 games.2 home wins and a draw at spurs will do.

OC can get the players in he wants and hopefully with more positive tactics 2 up front and get some early points on the board next season :yahoo:

Not long back, cracking day out despite our inept first half performance. First police escort on a bus since Belgrade :D

We're safe I'm sure, but the key now is to make sure we finsh 14th rather than 17th - over ?2M extra prize money that way :good:

Sounds like a great day for those who went. Especially those of you who endured such shite at Wolves away.

Proud of the team, glad Matty Taylor proved some of his critics wrong.

Onwards and upwards!

Top day out, craking result, lets forget 1st 45 mins boy they dont like it back at em them stokie lot!

To all those who didnt bother going this is justice!

The Faye chance mentioned in previous posts would not have counted as he was given offside.

Was he?

M.Davies was playing him onside by about 3 yards.

I experienced the win, sat in the car outside the ground! Due to work I couldnt go but arranged to meet my son after the match on our way down south. It was great listening to the roar after the 2 goals went in and then the moaning Stoke fans streaming out of the ground. :D

Great post.

Shaking off the hangover this morning with MOTD and Football First. It goes down as one of those memorable away wins, so glad I was there, our fans were terrific yesterday.

what exactly does that mean? :pardon:

Interested in OC's MotD comments : "I told the players before the game this was their biggest game of the season, their cup final. But they were poor in the 1st half" (or words to that effect).

That lack of response (until a few rockets at half-time, I assume) is something he'll have to sort out this summer, but he'll know that already.

The first half non performance was mainly down to the formation and lack of balance in the team playing ricketts as a second holding player was a mistake, also to continue squeezing the life out of a clearly knackered Lee chung yong was a mistake, like a good racehorse trainer would do I would put him out to grass for the rest of the season.

Those last 5 minutes we're feckin brilliant yesterday, when that second goal went in the away end went bonkers... Got a bit tasty walking back towards the Harvester after the game, was all good though!! COME ON YOU WHITES!!!

Gutted that I couldn't make it yesterday, being a poor tax dodging student is tough...financially

Watched the game on internet, fair play to all you lads and lasses that went, outsung the stoke lot throughout the match. Great comeback following the awful first half performance, Coyle made mistakes with his starting 11, however it's nice to see him being positive at half time, rather than mangagers who do the 60/70minutes subs.

Let's get the 3 points on saturday and then relax and enjoy summer, onwards and upwards

Well ,we were due some luck & we got it all yesterday.Fortunate to be only one down at half time, & though we improved in the second half ,we got the lucky breaks -Stoke missing sitters & our free kick being deflected etc.

Brilliant !!!.it's about time we got some luck & we must be safe now ?

After the game ,it looked like poultry-boy got smacked. As i went by, the police were protecting him. He's clearly a keen Bolton fan ,so i don't wish him any harm ,but that lad doesn't help himself.

turkey head did get a crack

i always thought i'd be happy enough for that to happen but my bwfc instincts kicked in, so i took an interest and plod were just telling him to shut up and they'd get him back to his bus safely

he didn't seem to get the hint too quickly that that was his cue to shut the fcuk up

OC didn't say anything about wrong formation or lack of balance, Mounts. If you're right and he's wrong, that's something else he & his backroom team need to address in the summer. If he brings some of his own players in, maybe he'll feel more confident about his tactics.

That formation apparently worked reasonably at Chelsea. However different Stoke are, it should have worked reasonably yesterday - even if he needed to change it for more attacking options after half-time.

Whatever the formation, he'd expect more effort and better passing, I'd imagine, given the pre-match emphasis he apparently put on the game.

Good glad he got a dig, the lad obviously has never played football and does not know the first thing about the game, however he does like the sound of his own gob, he constantly slags all the bolton players off bar none, while singing incessantly for Elmander who has no right to be on the pitch in his current form, in short the lads is a prick, I felt like giving him a dig myself.
