Good point JJ - how can a player signed by Man U for ?18m and who probably wouldnt be in their first choice XI if Owen Hargreaves was fit, possibly be described as being underrated?

A bit generalist to say "most" are, but I appreciate what you're saying as most football fans judge from highlights - which generally shows mistakes at the back and attacking situations.

 

It's a funny one this...take Bendtner at Arsenal - he seems underrated by those outside the Emirates - he's scored 9 in the last 11 games and is Arsenal's main striker at the moment, yet most folk I know say "he's dogshit"...yet Wenger must rate him highly to keep playing him when he's fit...

 

Perhaps he's under and over rated??

I'd say Karl Henry is one of the most underrated players in the Premiership. He would be brilliant with Muamba, not that we have a chance of signing him.

The MOST left footed player i've ever seen.

 

he used his right foot twice in the whole 90 minutes on wednesday each time it trickled out for a goal kick.
