Probably 5 goals, at most 7.

To catch up on the goals he should have scored. 15 first season 15 second season and 15 this season minus the 13 goals he's already scored - 32 goals and I'll take back all that I've said about him.

something tells me (and i really hope I'm right in a way) that elmander will have a really good season what with coyle's new style of play and the creative players in petrov and lee that will be providing good service. I think he will get between 10 and 15 this season. another reason why i think he will do well is this is the last year of his contract and he will need to play well to either a) ge a new one at bolton, or get other clubs interested in hime.

 

the only downside is that if he does have a pretty good season then another club could pilfer him next summer for free. although i would rather him have a good one and leave on a free than a bad one and leave on a free!

We used to have similar threads about Vaz Te at the start of every season and he always disappointed. I expect Elmander will be just as prolific as ever.

I can't see him getting much game time if we get a decent striker in and he and Davies stay fit and in form but assuming that won't be the case all year I can't see much hope for Elmo much as I want him to do well he is just not good enough he doesn't seem to me to have any attributes needed by a Premiership stiker and it still beggars belief that Megson or his scouts saw it differently to be honest.....although I still hope we might get something like an offer for him from the continent I'd rather get shut and try someone new than keep him if we can.

What does that matter? A goal is a goal, its not his fault our back four is like the titanic.

if we're gonna keep booting balls 2 feet over his head, he might as well go doze on a beach somewhere

 

if we're going to let lee and petrov work the ball on the floor, then davies is surplus to requirements and elmander gets a chance to play the game with the ball at his feet

3. If he leaves at any point before end of season no bet.

 

Doubt it will matter but if a disputed goal diddledee on here can decide.....or the official club site....or anywhere else you want.

 

When I win, I will even put the ?20 on him to score first in next game and when that wins I will put the winnings into a pot for free beer for people off wways in the fanzone.
