Doesn't matter, its not right

If they started chanting about the Burnden Park disaster people in here would be furious

I suppose the Hillsborough chants are OK too?

They are dirty evel bastards and doing their best to destroy our game, they can fuck right off

Before KO I would have taken a point no questions, however I agree with those that have said United were there for the taking yesterday. We conceded two poor goals. Ok they were both good finishes, but for Nani nobody put in a challenge. If that was us Scholes would have fouled him before he got going and taken a yellow. The second was even more disappointing as firstly it was from a set piece freekick and secondly scored by the smallest man on the pitch with his head. That should not happen.

I thought Elmander, Davies and Holden were superb and all round it was a good team performance. We do however need to cut out certain defensive mistakes which I think have cost us maximum points in the last 2 home games.

Incidentally I thought it was the worst Man Utd side that we have played in the PL. Bolton played very well, but Utd look very mediocre. The days of "this is sooo fuckin easy" are hopefully behind us. It did make me laugh to hear their song about Tevez being a "greedy twat", sung with absolutely no sense of irony. They truly are idiots!

He's here, he's there, he's everyfuckingwhere! Elmander! Elmander!

Ricketts got MOTM in the Telegraph; I would have given it to Knight

Robbie Savage was asked how he would have dealt with the Nani goal and his reply was 'Professional foul. Take a card for the good of the team'. Questioner didn't quite know how to react so Savage restated his reply to show he wasn't being flippant.

Would savage hve been quick enough to get there to take the booking? but agree with his opinion.

Great game enjoyed it but walked home with a tinge of disappointment of what might have been, think that might be the story this year Arsenal, Villa & United = 2 pts think we'd all have taken that but should of beat Villa could of beat Utd - fine line between great start and decent start....coyles definately starting to take affect on the club which is terrific it feels like we're on the up as opposed to on the slide but patience will be key i think this year will be a "holding" year with a smattering of days like yesterday.

Ricketts performance yesterday said to me lets get ?17.5m for Cahill and invest ?5m in a recongnised centre half (Kilgallon for ?3m maybe) and the rest goes on investing in other areas (that debates for another thread) but untill Jan Cahill comes back in for me and I prefer steinnsson to ricketts at right back - Night has been immense this year

As for Elmo work rate and effort don't equal outstanding performances for me, at a club like Bolton it's the minimum required and he has to work on his finishing to add some calmness, he thrashes at everything - it's a real one for Coyle, Elmo grafts and has started to create chances he can't finish, once Klasnic gets fit and is willing to graft he'll add the finishing quality we need but not yet Elmo deserves to keep the shirt.

And I'll bet Jonny fooking Evans is still sat in a darkened room praying he doesn't have to play against SKD every week, I thought SKD bullied him all afternoon - Utd were very average and gave the ball away more in that game than they do in 10 games usually - shame, they were there for the taking.

Didn't Elmander collect and play the ball to Petrov for the second goal? I think people are being a tad harsh on him, he literally did everything but score. A couple of those chances are very, very hard against any defence not least Munich's. Was a shame really because if he had bagged people would be banging on about how he's worth ?8 mil etc., rather than saying he couldn't score in a brothel. He's come on leaps and bounds, looks a bit pacey and tries probably more than anyone else in a White shirt at the moment. As for Zat Knight, been saying it for a few games now, looking solid. Solid as a rock!

Aye, but he'll create chances he can finish too. And he'll create chances for other folk.

I don't really see Klasnic creating chances for anyone.

Watched MOTD last night and although far from a sell out the stadium looked miles better with fewer empty seats and also suprised how loud our support was as it did not seem that good on the day. Let us hope we can continue the upward curve and the extra few thousand who turned up like what they saw and return, it does make a big difference.

Problem is, the majority [extra] probably would have been there for the Red Filth.

To the imbeciles in the corner, by all means support your team and enjoy the banter with the opposing fans but shut the fuck up chanting " who`s that lying on the runway etc". You lot are the source of the problems when the going gets nasty and the first ones to run away when challenged. You chanted insults at the Hibernian fans and ran away leaving decent people amidst the trouble. I hate Manure with a passionate H but I wont degrade myself chanting songs as such.

The miss yesterday, we'd have been drooling over

that goal for years had he scored, but the composure with which he turned Vidic suddenly

evaporated in a millisecond. Had it been away from home, I reckon he'd have scored. At home were he has'nt scored in the league since Stoke on his debut, he's got the strikers equivalent of golfers yips and the darters dartitus. When he does hit the target he usually finds a goalkeeper in form, like Stockdale for Fulham. Just needs one to go in off his backside, anything

just as long as it gets credited to him.

The Elmo miss aside, happy with a point. Only saw one winner when they equalised & I think most of the

crowd agreed given the cheers of relief at the end.

Criminal not to have a defender between the ball and the first attacker. Fingers crossed that won't be happening again this season.

like them burnley dingles last week. talking shit outside and as soon as i started pushing them about they screaming for backup!

robbie savage was funny on the telly. i thought it was a great game for the neutral and a fair result. we missed far too many chances to come away with 3 points.

i use the term munichs but don't sing the songs. i prefer gloryhunting southerners but it doesn't slip off the tongue as easy as DMBs

A main factor in that was that ESPN didn't film it from the usual gantry - if you notice it was from much lower and from that perspective it looked fuller (didn't show the half full upper tiers) and closer to the pitch

They all do now dont they? It's to do with the 3D isn't it?

there's still camera's in the upper gantry though.

p'raps normal cameras are in the new gantry and the 3d jobbies are up in the gods

To be honest, I haven't a clue other than the gantry between upper and lower has bene created are related somehow to this 3D malarky. It looks like a death trap from looking opposite it.

dunno but

a) it looks better on tv than lower down

B) the scoreboard for some reason constantly shows footage of the crowd in the west lower being filmed from the new, lower gantry, but always the top and back of their heads, not sure why they do this

I think that is harsh the free kick was not a good one it was lucky that Owen got on the end of it and even luckier that it looped into the net, if they tried to do the same again 1000 times I doubt they could do that again.

And believe me I'm passionate in my hatred of them

Right

I'm in a box in the east stand today, and just looking at the menu they are expecting us to eat lamb koftas at 10.30 on a Sunday morning the thick fucks.

I thought that was rubbish when I read it and I was right. Probably the only good thing after early kick offs are the Full English/brunch efforts they serve in the suites and boxes. I was in the Lion of Vienna Sunday and enjoyed a good fry up, not a lamb kofta in sight.

There's nothing wrong with a bit of artistic licence but no need to slag off the staff on the back of it.

jussi should of saved it, then again robinson should not of allowed owen to get the header in
