I see VVS Laxman formerly of Lancs seen them home and the bottom half of the Aussie second innings makes very good reading

Hope it doesn't get to over 40 centigrade, way too hot

That swimming pool they had at the cricket in the west indies, they should have one at the WACA & fill it with sun cream factor 50/

Shit sport

Shit sport

I'm not big on it, but it is a curious one. In the main, nobody gives a toss about cricket, you only need to see the county games that are played in front of 6 blokes and a dog most of the time. The Ashes come around, everybody then pretends they love cricket, then after a few weeks everybody forgets about it again.

It's the same with Tennis and Wimbledon, Athletic/swimming/cycling and the olympics and to a lesser extent football and the World Cup

I agree with your thoughts on Wimbledon, that's even more of a farce really - folk on "Henman Hill", cheering on whichever British no-hoper is in vogue at that particular moment in time, then once it's finished, nobody gives the sport a second thought for another 12 months

Aussie selector to be sacked and Broads looking forward to the first hours play inn Brisbane :good:

My link

i hope it rains on you all

Hope it doesn't get to over 40 centigrade, way too hot

Could get over on the odd day but only just. More likely to be between 30 and 36.

February the month to avoid here. 47's and the like are non too pleasant.

Cassie - every chance of rain in Sydney and Melbourne but highly unlikely in Perth. Weird thing is, on the odd occasion there's been a sudden rainstorm in Perth in mid summer, loads walk out of the pubs, pints in hands and stand in the gutters smiling with water gushing round their feet. Blessed relief.

I'm getting 3-1

Looks like th'aussies are getting done in the T20

Australia will regain the Ashes with a 5-0 whitewash, according to fast-bowling great Glenn McGrath, who always tips an Aussie clean sweep. He said: "I couldn't have more faith in the boys. The matches will be close but I'm tipping a 5-0 whitewash."
