I heard the same, probably from the same source, he is usally in the know, my thinking is that we pay out shedloads of money to the likes of the 2 Obriens, Riga,J.l.S, the crocked davies, the crocked gardner, all who we can shift of the wage bill come May, offer Elmander the same deal as he is on and no need to go into the transfer market for someone else, who may or may not be a success. I think common sense will prevail and Elmander will sign.

I wouldn't be surprised if our strikers were on a good wedge per goal scored to compliment a lower than average basic

OK the guy has had a pretty good season and some of his goals have been first class. BUT he has been poor for some games and the last two seasons appalling.

 

If he is greedy and wants more then they should sell the guy without a doubt. Dirk Kuyt plus money deal would be wonderful IMO
