LeggyMountbatten Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 There must be more to this than meets the eye. I noticed that it was reported that Keys had apologised to the lino - maybe Sky asked Gray to do the same and he refused. I saw a couple of tweets from football journos yesterday saying that Gray had enemies within the media and that there were a lot of people out to get him over this. Can't see Gray getting a job with either ITV or BBC - not in the short term anyway.
Bigtoe Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Stitched up like a kipper.. Aint he also suing the News of the screws over phone tapping...thats the paper nigh on 40% owned by Murdochs mob.
Zico Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 what happened to freedom of speech yeah sadly that doesn't apply when you're a highly paid sports commentator where people listen to your every word

Cheese Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Like I said, Andy Grey is a cunt, but this whole thing is beyond pathetic. More than likely, he's the victim of an inside job and there are ulterior motives behind it. Unfortunately, regardless of the cause, the effect will be felt far and wide.
Zico Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Aint he also suing the News of the screws over phone tapping...thats the paper nigh on 40% owned by Murdochs mob. aye and Richard Keys isn't
Cheese Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 I take it this means the end of the "Soccerette" feature on Soccer AM then? Not that I watch Soccer AM. I don't even have Sky.
Boby Brno Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 I take it this means the end of the "Soccerette" feature on Soccer AM then? Not that I watch Soccer AM. I don't even have Sky. That's the problem with issues like this, where does it end and what has it acheived. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and as they voiced theirs off air. Gray has now been sacked, the linesperson has become the subject of even more, so called, sexist humour around the country and because of the publicity, she has been pulled from a match tonight. The media spotlight will be on her more than ever now which can only make her job even harder. As Karl Pilkington would say, you solve one problem and create another, just leave things alone!
Smiffs Posted January 25, 2011 Author Posted January 25, 2011 Who's the cunt on TalkSports now? Honestly, in the last hour he's been the defender of all things wimmin, tearing Andy Grey apart using arguments such as sexual harrassment, racism, spackism, and get this.....the fucking holocaust. You'd think he'd commited genoside or something. Get a fucking grip.
jules_darby Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Heard that smiffs, it's Adrian Durham, oxygen thief He's a hypocritical bell end and has the numbest theories you could imagine
Smiffs Posted January 25, 2011 Author Posted January 25, 2011 Heard that smiffs, it's Adrian Durham, oxygen thief He's a hypocritical bell end and has the numbest theories you could imagine Not so bad. He said 'free speech is OK so long as it is not directed at and insults a particular individual <this ref lass>. I assume with that he's OK with Bernand Manning and his jokes about all things black/asian/chinese etc.
Traf Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Durham is just a WUM of the highest order anyway. He's a COCK.
Smiffs Posted January 25, 2011 Author Posted January 25, 2011 Hey you know there is one thing folk need to think about, players moreso. If someone is on a yellow, you just know there is a good chance she'd drag up some random misdomenour from fucking years ago that you'd totally forgotten about and bang, you're off and looking at a one game ban.
