We are getting dangerously close to living in a society where grown adults are being discouraged from having an opinion (or atleast discouraged from vocalising their opinion), and where mature humans are effectively being told what to think and say at all times, regardless of when or where they are.

 

All that should have happened in this case, is that Andy Grey and Richard Keys admit they were wrong, and that the female "referees assistant" actually did a good job, and that they were only engaging in light-hearted banter anyway, the likes of which goes on every single second of every day, between men and women alike.
