Colls were taught a lesson tonight, you cannot keep giving the ball away and not get punished, a very good Hyde team will be difficult for anybody to beat, I could moan about an unfair advantage with the pitch but I won't, hopefully it will be a closer game at the Kensite on a pitch ankle deep in mud [hopefully], a fully deserved win for Hyde.

Hope you were made welcome this evening.

Good to see a couple of you before the game but unfortunately not all.

Glad you got parked up ok. And love seeing the Wanderers crest on your flag that felt weird wanting a win against it.

Looking forward to the Colls trip.

Gumbo, my lad does stats for the Colls coaching staff on his tablet, does every game. Last nights possession first half was 51/49 Hyde and second half 50/50.

best side ive seen colls come up against hyde

again colls looked much better when cover and mason came on

fair result, but games at this level of football shouldn't be played on 5 a a side pitches imo

Full report goes to Cleggy after each match.

Fair result indeed.

Why Cols allowed Big Khamsuk to have free run of the game centrally I'll never know especially as when I saw Colls against Kendal I thought they were defensively superb through the centre of the pitch. I really didn't expect him to have that much time. If our two wide flying manchines were fit I could understand Cols being stretched but that wasn't the case last night.

Also I would expect Colls 12 and 15 to play more asthought both had an impact (on our5 aside pitch)

Just noticed some of the Wanderers Ways / Cols fans on Twitter towards Hyde.

You really are a decent bunch!

Looking forward to my next Cols trip!

Only repeating what I put on Twitter (I was doing the official Colls account on Tuesday) and the NPL Facebook group but Hyde were the first team I've seen 'properly' use an artificial pitch. Absolute scandal the amount of teams who have them and lump the ball forward but the speed of Hyde's passing and movement was unreal. I couldn't give a shit if it's a bigger version of 5 a side, decent one and two touch football kept on the deck is how it should be. It wasn't as if it was just knocking about for the sake of it like you'd see higher up the pyramid either, it was still always with the target of getting in to the final third as quickly as possible. Will be very interesting to see South Shields and Scarborough now to get a decent comparison.

That mon was tracked down the other week, they work for a data agency and the bookies take the feed from there. Mad how little delay they get, we timed it at barely a second by our reckoning.
