Great day out, great little town with some cracking pubs [and cheap] pitch was like a ploughed field but our lads adapted really well, the clubhouse was very good, can't remember getting home, wife said I walked in at 10 didn't speak and just went to bed

Train to Brighouse should be a good ‘un. Planning on getting straight to Brighouse for half 11 but will be coming back via Sowerby Bridge/Hebden Bridge and the like.

Hebden bridge is full of up themselves weirdos

You'd seriously be better off in todmorden

Did the route during the summer and Todmorden comfortably took the weirdo crown. 11am on a Saturday morning and it was full of blacked up morris dancers. Sowerby Bridge however was a heaven of decent pubs minus a couple of hipster places.

lobby and black peas for sale?

Black peas yes, lobby (with carrots) is for Leefers. I think we're mancs or wiganners, not sure, but they've adopted me :)

Burger van on. I'm selling tins of ale, probably not the wisest move :)
