Non League Chatter

A few weeks away yet, but this could be the biggest attendance Victory Park have had for many a year with it being a title cruncher. Come on Chester beat those Leigh stealing body-snatchers.

A date for your diaries, on Saturday 4th July Atherton Collieries will play Bolton Wanderers, Neil Lennon has said he will bring a good squad down

  • I'm very fair and even handed on this one. I hate both sets of cunts.

Think I've played against Wigan Robin Park....is there a running track around the pitch?

Might be off to Droylsden V top of the table Stalybridge tomorrow in the BS North....

Yes mate, there is a running track around the pitch

Here it is.

Droylsden, Stalybridge & Hyde all doing well int Bluesquare North.

Now that's what a football ground should look like. Just don't say owt about Killie pies. :dribble:

We were in the stand behind the goals on the right hand side. Terracing! Blimey, I've only just realised I was stood on terracing for the first time in years! Bowling green club around the corner.... think I got about 6-7 drinks in for a tenner! Now those are proper prices!

As for Killie pies... my one and only visit to Kilmarnock's Rugby Park... I demolished at least 2 during the game. Awesome!

Chorley lost 1-0 away at Rushall Olympic. Apparently the ref had to stop the game after about 15 minutes so that a dog turd could be removed from the pitch. You don't get that in the Premier League.

Athywhite1958 are colls at home next Saturday?

A good draw under the circumstances at Ashton Town last night. Should have been out of sight by half time, but rode our luck in the second half in a typically clich?d game of two halves.

Radcliffe Borough, Chorley & Atherton Collieries are all at home tomorrow.

I'm sure they'll all be showing the England game in their Clubs afterwards.

Well worth getting out & giving it a go with no Premier League & nice weather forecast.

Kids get in free at all venues too.

All welcome at the Colls, the England game will be on :drinks:

A great win for the Colls, 5 - 0, against Holker Old Boys, followed up with the England game and some very potent Damson Gin, :drinks:

A very poor following from Rotherham, i think about 300. Wanderers fans would have swamped the town in a 1st round FA Cup tie in the eighties.

We enjoyed the game from the clubhouse box.

Good win for Radcliffe Borough last night, knocking Fleetwood Town out of the Lancashire Cup.

I see Barrow are still in there, with Chorley who put 7 past Ashton Athletic last night.

It isn't looking too bad, we have a couple of games in hand on a couple of the teams above us, we can live in hope.

  • 2 weeks later...

Going watching Chorley v FC United at Gigg Lane tomorrow.

Hope they fare better than the Wanderers when they've visited in my experience.
