Non League Chatter

A few weeks away yet, but this could be the biggest attendance Victory Park have had for many a year with it being a title cruncher. Come on Chester beat those Leigh stealing body-snatchers.

A date for your diaries, on Saturday 4th July Atherton Collieries will play Bolton Wanderers, Neil Lennon has said he will bring a good squad down

  • I'm very fair and even handed on this one. I hate both sets of cunts.

  • Said nobody ever

Get your pies early, they go quick.

Went up and the lass said 'sorry love all those are reserved'

Still managed to source a nice chunky steak though.

Aye, the usual piss pots from Athy will be on, the young lady will be treated accordingly with the usual Athertonian hospitality :dribble:

I can just imagine her walking in the Club :D

Good do at Colls today just back.

Few Bolton lads in attendance which was good to see. :good:

Top marks to the barman who kept my very demanding daughter occupied splitting raffle tickets.

Said ?3 for kids on the entrance but the very nice chap waved her through.

Made to feel very welcome on a first time visit. Will be back.

The Barrow chairman pulled up in his car asking for directions to Witton Albions ground, i put him in the right direction expecting a lift, and he drove off. I clocked him in the clubhouse and went over to him, before i could open my gob he apologized to me saying he was sorry for not taking me to the ground, and his wife had bollocked him realising how far i had to walk with him thinking it was only round the corner.

its quite a trek if i remember reet

Would say about 300-350 mark, Albion had Barrow under the cosh first half, it took the sending off of the Albion player and bringing Almond on to turn the game round. Bring on Morecambe.:D

just seen that PA play round the corner from rita and sue territory

now, that would be a draw

Will definitely be back.

Too many Chorley away games in this league are hours away ont train & I'm happy just watching other local Clubs. Especially with the onset of Winter. No point spending a bomb on tickets and travelling hours to find it's been called off.

Plus my mate (who had the work gear on) just lives up the road so he can do a few hours and meet us there.

Virtually non-league, off to Somerset Park tomorrow... for the 2nd time. Think it was 19 years ago that I last went. Drove up there in my dad's Lada Samara! haha.

C'mon The 'Ton!
