Open Sale

Anybody else in the same boat as me? Everybody I know with a ST is going so I will have to wait til they go on open sale on Monday. Given the chaos that ensued on the phone lines/internet when they went on sale to season ticket holders I am expecting much the same situation Monday morning and so I'm thinking of going up to t'Reebok and queueing up to get some. Good move or not?

Bolton fans in general have always supported the club, and will continue to do so, as long as its affordable, these days it often isn't.

  • As saving the planet is high on the agenda these days, and much as I hate to admit it, Red Nose himself made a valid point that the amount of travel involved in sending 3 and a half North West teams

Would one extra large arse count as 2 ?

If it's a extra arse, yes.

If it's just very large, no.

I hope you're going to have your face painted too for the occasion. :good:

Don't be daft

Getting me hair dyed tho white and blue!!

I'm going with lads who haven't been all season, and they're taking kids and the odd wife

Brentford sold 25,000 for the johnstones paint trophy final on sunday

How many had Brentford sold 2 weeks before the match and before they had gone on open sale?

I don't buy all this 'Wembley's the only ground big enough' pish.

That's just an excuse to make more dosh.

Different story int Final where Clubs only get 24k end of story.

Where does that leave Man U who can't accomodate all their ST holder's?

Demand often outsrips supply for the big guns so where's the difference?

Also my ticket is ?50, 2nd highest category, behind the feckin goal. Only when a game is at Wembley can they get away with sh1t like that.

For the record, I am going. I have ordered my tickets and my train fare is paid. I am not bothered that we may just be doing it all again in May, it's only money after all!

The last time I saw guernica at a game it was at burnden park!

I get the sense your only on here to wind every fucker up!

I know more non-season ticket holders going, than I know season ticket holders.

I know of two 49 seat coaches going from Horwich with less than 30 season ticket holders combined.

The club have sold over 2/3 of the tickets thats around 22000. Now considering there are only 13000 or so season ticket holders and a proportion of them will not have bought 2 then I would say we have sold as many as you would expect.

Still dont think we will sell out - somewhere between 25000 and 30000

It will be a ding dong do though no matter how many we have against stoke

fucking hell

stick your neck on the line why don't you

im not as brave, il go somewhere between 20 and 35 thousand.

I reckon these folk will find the money for a final, innit.

with the emphasis on the word final. The FA Cup final should be played at Wembley, not the semi final.

There's coaches less than 30 quid to Wembley. It's not much different to Birmingham. The ticket prices would be the same were it Wembley or any other ground & with tickets at ?30 that's a lot less than many premiership clubs charge for a league game.

Well that is good for those who can afford it then but many folk cannot afford to go with the hope of going again a month later for the final.

lancaster whites av filled 2 coaches,

if we sell 28000 it will be a gud effort,

most weve took 2 wembley in recent years

would be scousers int league cup when

we sold out and they still ad tickets

unsold in olympic gallery,mind you

it was ?105 for then seats cos i was

in them.

But it is what it is. We've known for a number of seasons they need to have it there to help pay for it, whether we like it or not. So there seems little point crying over spilt milk.

Probably right Garrp I am very brave. be between 15000 and 45000 - that will do it :yahoo:

Money is an issue everywhere, I agree, and Wembley dont half know how to fleece folk.

But for this, the 2nd FA Cup semi in 53 years and then hopefully the final, I'd sell the wife or porn the fuckin telly to get enough cash to go.

Stuff like that can be replaced and bought, times in your life like this cannot.

Some how, some way, the vast majority of folk would get there if they really really really really wanted to.

Which was my point in the post JO replied to. If you go watching football currently you've got some expendable income, you must have as we all know it's not the cheapest of pastimes. We all cut our cloth accordingly. I haven't gone for a box or a private jet down there, though I am open to offers if anyone wants to invite a short fat bird with bad attitude on their VIP trip. :good:

Well said - what really pisses me off is I am sure every other premierleague club, with the possible exception of the pie eaters would shift their tickets. However, tickets arent on open sale yet, and although I dont know anyone personally who is waiting for open sale, maybe they will be queing twice around the reebok, and we will fill our allocation.

You mean like Blackburn did for their semi final at the Millenium?

You mean like Blackburn did for their semi final at the Millenium?

its going way over your head this isn't it

try and justify the fact we won't sell out for the semi final however you want

but just wait for the reaction if we manage to make the final

every man and his dog will have a sob story how they don't go anymore because of this, that and the other but they still deserve a ticket

no one will have money problems

wembley won't be a problem

i guarantee if we got 40 thousand for the final we would sell every one of them

like we did for the carling cup final

yet had an attendance of 16k for the semi final and a large part of that were villa fans

to be fair the reebok is miles away and its a disgrace were not at burden anymore

52,077 at the Arsenal v Blackburn FA Cup semi final at the Millenium Stadium

I bet we've already sold more tickets than Blackburn had fans there. If we sell 30,000 it'll be around the figure Arsenal took!!!
