Nobster Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Just got back from France where I watch the game against the dmb scum in a local bar. In the bar there were 9 united fans, 2 from France 4 from London 3 from Ireland Me the only manc in the place was stood there in my Bolton shirt giving a fine rendition of who the f*ck are man united
no balls Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Just seen a family of them in matching shirts at Deepdale Sainsbury's. I gave them a hard stare. Wankers.
Nobster Posted April 13, 2011 Author Posted April 13, 2011 What do you expect in them posh shops ! Thought you would have been a Tesco girl
no balls Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Sainsburys, posh? Give over! It was a mere a lunchtime outing as the main shop is Ocado.
Guest Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Sainsburys, posh? Give over! It was a mere a lunchtime outing as the main shop is Ocado. Not Booth's?
no balls Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Not Booth's? I opted for a change of envirnoment for once. That'll learn me. Booths appears to be a DMB free zone, which is nice.
Youri McAnespie Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 (edited) I was in the gym (in Bolton) last night and, as usual, there were folk wearing filth merchandise. I asked one of them, trying to be all jovial like (but I could feel my 'smile' turning into a spite-filled sneer), "Not interested in watching the match then?" or something along those lines, they looked genuinely puzzled for a moment, then replied "oh we'll beat 'EM (!?) we always do". I don't think they knew who was playing... Edited April 13, 2011 by Youri McAnespie
Garrp Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 pub in greenwich last night me, two spurs fans, handfull of Chelsea fans and about 50 Munichs. cunts
ex_midlandwhite Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 pub in greenwich last night me, two spurs fans, handfull of Chelsea fans and about 50 Munichs. cunts Get used to it fella, there are Love United Hate Glazer stickers stuck to lamp posts in NW London, makes me angry!
Youri McAnespie Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 (edited) And, to add to the gloryhunting shower of sh*t likes of the Kent/Essex/London etc. 'Reds', we have the recent rise of the northern Chelsea 'fan'. Reminds me of Bolton in the early/mid 80s with Liverpool (and briefly Everton) shirts everywhere - CANDY? CROWN PAINTS? NEC? MY ARSE.* *obviously the munchen are by far the worst. frank_spencer Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 There's fans on here from Oz, Texas, LA, London, scotchland etc.
Youri McAnespie Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 (edited) OK Frank, I'll bite - I think that fact just goes to show how well-travelled, debonaire and cosmopolitan Bolton supporters are Edited April 13, 2011 by Youri McAnespie
no balls Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 May I point to the stick some of our well known fans from Bolton seem to get. Is it worth supporting your local team if you're famous?
Youri McAnespie Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 (edited) Damned if they do, damned if they don't. I read somewhere (here?) that Peter Kay had been spotted at Old Trafford once ("looking like a bulldog licking piss off a thistle") - but it's been well documented, and he self-admits to liking a freebie and, although he likes 'sport', football ain't (or isn't printed on) his 'bag'. Russell (w*nker) Brand claims he gets stick at Upton Park, mainly along the lines of "I never saw you here before you were famous", him pointing out back how would they notice him before he was famous? So we have: Vernon Kay - longtime BWFC? Amir Khan - same? Peter Kay - Munich freeloader/not declared? Paddy McGuinness - closet Filthy Scum supporter? any others? jazza Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 I watched the build up to last nights game on SSN and they interviewed about 30 DMB's and most were Irish, there was a Norwegian and the closest to Manchester was a family from Taunton!
peebles Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 I always like to hear tales of fans travelling the length of the Country on a Saturday, to follow their beloved team. I was at Chorley the other week & a bloke there had travelled up from Plymouth to see the Magpies. Usually, it's family connections or some stupid reason from childhood. The majority of them lot are only there because they are the biggest, bestest team in the Universe & win loads of trophies innit.

Juan.Kerr Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 The Bolton fans in Oz and the US of A on here come from Bolton. Wherever you live Bolton is still your local club. It's the Cockney mancs, the Irish mancs the never been near the place mancs that want shooting. I can't walk past one without whistling to the tune of " you're shit and you know you are"
Youri McAnespie Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 That McFly lad.... no not Marty, Doc Browns groomed associate Was that why he was so keen to get him 'back to the future'? Did it not have the same thrill, knocking about with him when they were closer in age?
Ghana White Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 My mate sat next to Face out of the A Team at Fulham away a few years back, it's a neutral end but I'm claiming him for Bolton he was sat with our fans..

Gravel rash Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Sat near to Shaun Edwards and his son at Highbury a few years back, he was wearing a Levi jacket with BWFC pin in lapel. I think his missus was a Wanderer and she converted him. Vernon Kay was there too 100% Wanderer, with his wife. Peter Kay does not follow football at all. Dave Spikey big Wanderer Badly Drawn Boy also Danny Jones too Plus a host of others, who've the Stokies got, Nick phooking Hancock, the squeeky voiced, smug, smarmy unfunny fart!
