Flinders only became a Wanderer after moving to the area - I can't remember who he "supported" before then...

Amy Nuttall has been spied in the Bolton end a few times.

Conversely, let's not forget what a horrible DMB that Rosie Webster is.

Sat near to Shaun Edwards and his son at Highbury a few years back, he was wearing a Levi jacket with BWFC pin in lapel. I think his missus was a Wanderer and she converted him.

Vernon Kay was there too 100% Wanderer, with his wife.

I remember seeing him and Tess Daley at that game. He was also at the Fulham game when we drew 1-1 (EHD scored a pen for us) I think Bruno N'Gotty was in our end that night as well.

On the subject of egg-chasing Wanderers, Maurice Lindsay (PNE Chairman) was/is a BWFC supporter.

Where does the idea that Paddy McGuinness is a DMB come from, he's a White through and through. He was interviewed on Talkshite by Hawksbee and Jacobs......As a Wanderer.

Spikey is a season ticket holder.

One poster on here seems to have made it up.

I always like to hear tales of fans travelling the length of the Country on a Saturday, to follow their beloved team.

I was at Chorley the other week & a bloke there had travelled up from Plymouth to see the Magpies.

Usually, it's family connections or some stupid reason from childhood.

The majority of them lot are only there because they are the biggest, bestest team in the Universe & win loads of trophies innit.

The same can be said of the people watching Chorley this season. How many of them went to the games in previous seasons when Chorley were scrambling about at the bottom of the league. How many will go should Garry Flitcroft decide to up sticks and take his players and money with him.

the truth is that many men do not actually watch football or for that matter like it.

However as this seems to go against the popular idea of 'men' then many often opt for a default setting, ie some big team.

United are an obvious choice, after Munich there was a lot of sympathy for them and with the myth of Best/Law/Charlton this has been perpetuated all over the world.

The same can be said of Liverpool after all there success in the 70's and 80's.

Again it can be seen now in the multiplication like mushrooms of supposed Chelsea fans.

I know and again watch rugby league but there is no way i would say i have a team. Your team is something you are born into not something you choose when you get to school like a bike or favourite musical group.

The hope is that one day football will get back to being a sport and not this commercial asset as it seems so fit to feel it needs to be.

All Clubs get bigger crowds when they're doing well Biff.

Bit harsh to compare Chorley fans to the filth.

Given that he's Bolton born and bred and was on Burnden with me the night we beat City 3-0 in the league cup when Gary Jones scored the hat-trick, then i think we can conclude that you just made that up.
