  • Best thing about the new Wembley - ESCALATORS up to the upper tier. Something we should install in the Reebok.

  • Was hugely impressed. Fantastic view. Easy to get a pint. Easy to relieve myself of afore mentioned pint.   Have heard plenty of complaints about people moaning about stuff like the cost of fish

breathtaking , watched my lads faces as we walked up the steps and into the stadium, there faces lit up it was like christmas.

hate the place

Racists - only employ black people

Not enough bogs

Thought the view was good until the game was 10 minutes old

Hate the place like Anewman said

hated it the first few times

it grew on me a bit yesterday, but that was probably because of all the empty seats.

emirates is twice the stadium imo

totally souless

i dont mind it..was sat in the upper tier about half way up was a good view..could see all the movement..or lack of

prices are steep, steps are steep, pitch looked good, cost enough to build though

You'd think they'd have put toilets in that work.

Other than that & the game, I was impressed.

Quality stadium in my opinion, easy to go for a piss or get a pint, liked the escalators touch

Very impressive.

it's alot better than the piss riddled effort that we had more success in

Don't like the Emirates as no atmosphere but thought Wembley was spot on apart from the cost of some stuff.

I was sat at pitch side and the seats at the top upper looked absolutely miles away. Anyone up there and could you tell what was going on?

Surely someone on here is still at school / college and can look for how high it is and can then work out the distance from the centre spot given the circumference is 1km to the top seats. I reckon about 200 metres! Any other guesses before some smart arse works it out?

vary impressed :drinks:

i was in top tier, row 10, about half way and i wouldnt like to sit any further back, but more than happy with the view.

but ?8.60 for a pie and pint, are you taking the fucking piss!?

why wasnt wembley way redeveloped with a load of cafe type bars down both sides, instead of those 6 quid a burger joints?

It's big, even compared to the Allianz Arena, Old Trafford and the Millennium. Not as big as the Camp Nou though. I was interested in where the money had gone, and compared to the Emirates, I'm fucked if I know. The workmanship was poor, half the lights were out, the sink didn't work, you wouldn't accept that on a house or office. Lastly, there weren't enough bogs or food and drink kiosks for a "world class" stadium.

i love it very impressive

id love to the the full breakdown of costs, somebody (or lots of people) were taking the piss.

not sure how wembley was double the cost of the emirates.

There weren't enough bogs ... for a "world class" stadium.

Wembley has a higher toilet to spectator ratio than any other stadium in the world.

2nd time ive been to the new wembley, I like it, I was in Block 552 row 2 seat 372 cracking view :good:

It would be nice if we could actually get a goal there. Is that goalless now in the last 3 Wembley visits (Stoke, Villa, Watford), or am I missing one?

Unfortunately, they are all in the Club Wembley corporate area.

Also, can anyone explain the massive gaps in the ?60 areas when these allegedly sold out first?

I was just going to post about that.

Almost as soon as they went on sale we were told they were sold out. Last Monday I looked on the ticket thing and two of the ?60 blocks had gone from sold out to good availability.

Seems like quite a cock up.
