Some of their antics over the semi-finals merited a decent ban in my humble opinion.

Busquets has previous as we saw against Inter last season, but Mascherano's behaviour was the most shocking last night - even trying to get Diarra sent off so late in the game. One good thing to come out of these matches those is that the imbeciles who thought Ronaldo was anywhere near on the same level as Messi can now crawl back under their rocks and be silent forever. Regarding the quality of La Liga, what we have is effectively a two horse race every season. My opinion is that all but two of the teams in that league would be mid-table at very best in the Premier League. Real Madrid would be challenging for 4th place, whilst Barca would absolutely piss it. Without doubt, Barca - love them or loathe them - are BY FAR the best club team since the Dutch-inspired Milan side of the 90s.

He was far from the worst candidate though and if you look at all 22 of them, they clearly do not give a shit about playing the game in the right spirit with there card waving and running after the gullible ref who fell for it every time.
