just a though here but, If I was coyle I would be offering Cahill to Spurs. They have a few players getting a little restless at not playing and may be able to get a swappage.

 

They are crap at the back so Cahill could do a job..................they then have Crouch, Defoe (unrealistic I think) and Pav who I think would all do a job and be great signings for us. They are all upset at not always getting first team football, so worth the offer, certainly of Crouch and Pav.

If we sell Cahil, couldn't we simply buy the ones we want? Still adds up the same. They aren't going to give the players away for free.

I also see Zoltan Gera is on a free......I said we should have signed him years ago. He is a tricky little player who has lots of confidence and likes to create.
