14th. Worse than megsons last season. 5 defeats on a row. RElegation form since Xmas. Away form farcical. Coyle - you are not as good as you think you are.

  • now you're a bright bloke, granted you must be approaching the onset of senility, but why oh why does it always have to be llike this   folk look at what coyle has done and in some cases criticise s

It only needed a slight better performance and a switched on full back rather than Steinson and we could easily have beaten Sunderland, Blackburn and Blackpool (The margins in those 3 games were definately tight) - but we didn't and the squad is very limited.

Like some of said in other threads its a boring time after the season ends. This year I just hope we see a lot of new quality players putting on the white shirt in readiness for next season.

So was Stiensson at fault for all three games? Hell, he's in for a torrid summer now we've nothing else to talk about!

Steinsson didnt p;ay aginst Blackburn.

Why let such a minor detail get in the way of a whinge.

Is it just on here people are being negative? I don't read other sites, are they all overjoyed on there? I left at full-time on Sunday so must have missed the 20,000+ people OC love in. Maybe it's just WW that is unrepresentative.

If that is a response to my post then I also don't read other sites but I pick up the vibe at the match. IMO fans have unrealistic expectations which translates to negativity on web sites. I always find your posts strangely subdued rather than negative as if you stopped enjoying the matches ten years ago. No one is asking you to be overjoyed after losing at home to City but why the sly remark about OC?

Does it help when he prays?

I know what you mean but he has been awful recently; not the only one but responsible for some of the recent goals conceded

It wasn't a sly remark, I was just seeking clarification as I've detected plenty moaning at the games. Your accusations were at this website, I think we are representative. It's never going to be happy clappy.

I'm subdued as I'm not 15 anymore and find it hard to get excited over something which quite frankly isn't. Nothing strange about that.

I never said wways was unrepresentative. My comment was surprise that so many are negative after a generally good season by BWFC standards. I fully accept that this view is expressed by a proportion of our fans but I would suggest that some of them will never be happy! As for your own state of mind I think you have pretty much confirmed what I originally posted, I find this strange for a moderator of a fans website!

by their standards maybe

but they were far better than Sunderland, Blackburn and all that who beat us

we played well that day, seems to me that the mindset may have been "we've made up for Wembley, now let's go on holiday"

I agree most of our problems toward the end of the season came from not having a replacement for him - certinaly playing Elmander and Gardner in there made no sense to me - sad thing is, Davies was fit for Wembley!

no he wasn't.

He was in the squad but oc said he wasn't 100%. What little he did in that game made his injury, picked up at Birmingham, worse.

Who the fuck do you think you are, commenting on people's state of mind??? I've heard some arrogant bollocks on here before but that takes the biscuit. You know next to nothing about me, most of my posts aren't even serious you plantpot. If you have any problems with the way the site is run, I suggest you take it up with Happy as I'm done with you.

Your not fragile much are you? Rhetorical question!

Odd that you can use words like rhetorical but don't know the difference between "your" and "you're".

Anyway, take your psychoanalysis elsewhere. Goodbye.

And you didn't even start on his misuse of the word proportion!

They won't be replying Michael, my fragility has come to the fore again.

Now lie down. Relax. Breath. Count backwards from 10.

There, does that make you feel better?

What's that show they had on telly before where there's a round robin where you box each other?

Should get summert like that on here

Carlos v gudnisson

Anewman v everyone

:D

Anewman v everyone

:D

All at the same time? :D

And you didn't even start on his misuse of the word proportion!

If we have 20,000 fans and 15,000 think we're ace, that means the remaining quarter think we're shit.

That's a proportion.

So a proportion of our fans think we're shit.

I'm not entirely sure what happened before that, mind.

well, fwiw, lad I work with on the way back from wembley saw him at services and he said he was fit and had been training that week, and he sounded pissed off that Elmander was being played in midfield to keep him sweet and because he didnt' want him to leave (though we knew that anyway)

yes, I thought the days of fans talking to players on services was long gone too, but I don't think my colleague is lying

I'm not getting into a boxing match in my fragile state of mind!!

zico, sounds like complete and utter bollocks

thats COMPLETE and UTTER

you'd just play elmander up front

he'd be even less pissed off

I'm only telling you what the spirits are telling me

that said, I can't think of one good reason to have played Elmander in midfield at any point, let alone V Stoke

you're right though, I'd have just played Elmander up front, and dropped Davies (K)

well, yes but that wasn't going to happen

he would however have left klasnic out
