SpiritofBurnden
We've played Bury in the top flight but we didn't meet them in our one season in the Fourth Division as they were in the Third Division at the time. We've played Cardiff and Leyton Orient in all four divisions.
darwen_white
When the PL kicks off, what will Bolton and Swansea have in common that cannot be said about any of the other teams? I can only think of the obvious - beating Reading at Wembley

Well, Cardiff go back to the early 50's so a long time back. Went down in '57. Leyton Orient is a top shout. One season in Div-1 back in 62/63, a year before we took the same route downwards. And I'm old enough to remember both. Doh !

darwen_white
I initially thought of Carlisle Utd, as we definitely played them in Division 4. However, I don't think we met them in the top flight. It would've been mid 70s when they were in div
SatanGreavsie
I can only think of the obvious - beating Reading at Wembley Fair answer, but what I was after was we'll be the only two teams in the PL promoted via the playoffs

Mike Hunt
they will both be relegated by Christmas ? bloody hell, you usually make it to the first pre-season game before we hear 'we're going down if we don't win today'
