It was only 2 weeks ago that McCleish was saying that he really wanted to stay at Brum. There have been rumours all over Birmingham for the last 2 days about it.

True , the Hughes resignation is very odd then if he doesnt take the Villa job which it doesnt look like. with McCleish he ahs left a couple of days after signing someone and appeared to be happy at Brum
