Never tried it myself, but the girlfriends daughter won over 2 grand on the first time she went on Saturday, then won a couple of one lines netting her 200 quid, the girlfriend joined and won 171 quid. She cashed in ? 130 and then blew the rest.

The girlfriend goes a lot with her grandma to BJs bingo in Leigh. Not won out for over 12 month.

She wins a bit online every now and then though. About as much I do on the nags, so not mega money. Keeps her happy, and is a good way to spend time with her grandma

More losers than winners. Thats why i told our Maud to cash in the ? 130 while she was winning, and she spunked up her ? 40 float trying to win more money.

Jazza,

Was it you that thought they had a winning system on th'roulette in the bookies?

and it has now turned out to be a losing system?

I didn't profess it to be a system really.... more a manner of playing but I'll hold my hands up and say I was wrong.

Won loads and loads to start with but my luck turned and lost as much if not more.

Don't play at all anymore, I can't afford it.

there did actually used to be a system that worked with online roulette.

i was up 1000% over a period of weeks, doing an hour a night. (it was mind numbingly boring)

but they got wise and start putting maximum bet limits on, which got lower and lower, which eventually fucked the system up.

garp may remember it? and somebody else on here, zico maybe?

no system at roulette wins in the long run, if you could make a 1000% profit at any form of gambling for an hour a night you would do it and retire.

any system can win in the short term but it is mathematically impossible to win forever. that is why casinos are very big and nice inside and online sites make a fortune.

i am sure garp will be able to give an idea of how much profit bookies make from roulette games.

If money is no object you can win by betting on say red for example and if you lose, double your stake every spin until you win. Then when you do hit red start at your original stake again.

You will only ever win the value of your first spin in profit and it simply isn't worth it since they introduced the maximum stake limit.

If you start with a ?10 stake on your first spin if you hit 6 losers in a row your seventh stake would be ?1280 and eighth ?2560. A lot of dosh to lay out to win a tenner.

A mate of mine used to bet twice as much on 1-18 as he put on the last third (25-36) This meant if the ball landed on 1-18 he won at evens which was his losing stake plus as much again. If 25-36 came up he just broke even; the 2:1 odds gave hime his losing stake from the 1-18 bet.

0 and 19-24 were losing bets.

Take a look next time you're in a casino. It takes balls to go with much more than a few quid.

called the monte carlo system, as in theory no table limits there.

watch roulette and you will be amazed how long runs on 50/50 results go the same way.

it sounds unlikely, but every other time you will lose first spin, before long you are at table limits, plus you have walked into the casino if your example with over 5 grand, and the 8th spin is as likely to lose as the others, so next bet is ?5120, to recvoer the the ?5115 you have already lost so you got there with over ?10k.

I assume when you say used to he packed in when he made his first ?10M?

ps

in any bookie shop in the country

the roulette machines make more money than football/racing/every other sport put together

theres a maximum of 4 allowed in any bookie for that reason

ladbrokes are starting splitting their shops in two, so they can have 4 in each
