Is he the answer. Personally I have'nt noticed him that much when he has got a game for the Scousers. That said I'd take hime rather than the Blue nose's Cameron Jerome.

They signed David Goodwillie tonight so maybe not, we are not out of the woods on that one yet.

wages are a little steep due to previous manager offering him a new deal with higher wages app/goals bonus and him signing it.

I'm sure i read that N'gog had one of the best goals per chance ratio in the premiership, or something like that, maybe he just needs to play regularly and get the confidence back, he was labelled "the new terry henry " when liverpool signed him but i'd rather pay 3-4 million on him then 6-7 on jerome .

Not sure about this lad, I know alot of Liverpool fans who go on regular and their opinions are polorised about Ngog.

 

The one comment that they all make is that he lacks pace. A few recon he would do ok for us 10 - 12 goals which I suppose is worth ?4m. I think he would be one of those players our fans love to hate.

I've seen him play a number of times;

He looks sluggish;

His ball control is shocking;

I've seen him miss plenty of clear-cut chances;

His goal record ain't great.

 

All this leads me to form a solid opinion that the lad ain't any good, and wouldn't do a job for us.

its getting to the point, where i would be happy with jerome.

Not convinced by either Ngog or Jerome, but I would risk 3 million on 1 or the other, as long as we got Sturridge back on loan and Wright Phillips in and keep Cahill I think we will have had a reasonable widow.

We'll make a last minute signing on August 31st. Coyle will be waiting see if Sturridge gets much game time in the first weeks and if he doesnt/Sturridge throws his dummy out the pram saying he wants go out on loan again, move for him, if not some desperate last minute signing.
