Arsenal 3 Wanderers 0

This is going to be an open game and won by the odd goal in a 3-2 thriller as both defences needs to tighten up a bit.

cost us the all important first goal.

  • What worries me is OC sticks with players who are just not performing. He was brave at villa and should have continued with similar set up.

  • A draw, 2 -2 possibly. Arsene out!   Either way, I shall be bobbing back from the pool to the villa to see the results come in

Right thought we played well first half.

Steinsson over committing left a big hole for Van Persie.

Soft foul but once he'd done it Wheater had to go.

From then on Arsenal ran rampant.

Walcott tore Robbo a new arsehole.

Better overall performance IMO.

Get Chelsea out of the way and our season starts in earnest.

we will getting fucking dicked against chelsea

Bottom of the table, come end of season, that very well could be were we end up  players getting injured, mistakes all throughout the team, goals being conceded for fun.

It really is crap! players are crap, our luck is crap, the performances are crap, we are crap away, we are crap at home.

Chelsea next   <_<

10 losses out of 11 matches, that is atrocious! Sammy Lee and Megson did better than this

0-0 at half time, great, then we just throw it all away, these players best realise quickly that if this continues we'll be throwing away our Premiership place and with our debt, maybe any hope of future success.

Nah I'd give him 6 games against opposition we have a chance of getting points against.

Chelsea out of the way then no excuses.

I expect 9 points from 6 games At least

Yep , we can expect another 3 or 4 nil defeat next week and then the season starts at wigan. the trouble is our confidence will be rock bottom, if holden stays fit then we may be ok but i fear its going to be along winter. my first real concern about coyle as our manager today , you can t control injuries i know but he had the perfect chance of naming the same team that played villa apart from cahill, how many more times is he going to play jussi. iam not one to slag players off but he needs resting.

on the lighter side, i have just done that predictor up to 31st december and have us in 13th

so being optimistic we'll be 7th?

Been said before on here i think most expected 3 maybe 4 points at this stage of the season. the concern is the way we loose.

Jussi was our best player.

And you don't put a player through two matches in 4 days who's just been out with a career-threatening injury for 6 months.

Apart from that, great message.

Anyone got any footage of that embarrassing so called Red card? Need to have another look at that!

Rubbish. Never looked like scoring. Eagles one on one at 1-0 and shit himself. No pace going forward when ngog went off.

It's annoying cos they were poor.

Wigan will be happy we are on the horizon!!

That game is a six pointer in October

He was well closed down by Gibbs and had to shoot when he did otherwise he would've been tackled.

kin el, ive hit my kids harder than he hit that

and gardener and holden who probably can't play 2 in a week

oh and he had to play Petrov as he's been our best player

Jussi's been ropey at times but i'm not convinced bogdan would be much better.

In those 10 losses we've played

Man City (twice)

Man United

Arsenal

Liverpool

The end of last season we'd all but given up after Stoke, were low on confidence and had a lack of fit players. We lost to Blackburn and Blackpool away who were fighting to stay in the league.

Norwich is the odd one out, despite us not playing well we did have 10 men and were unlucky with the refereeing decisions.

We will get dicked by chelsea next week, it's difficult to compete with those teams whilst playing pretty football like so many wanted.

We played well against City but their quality was too much, shocking at Liverpool but that's the norm at Anfield. Okay going forwards against United but we were gutless at the back. Tried to correct that today and we did well in the first half, undone by a jussi howler and a Walcott dive.

Midweek we beat a strong villa team and we will have Holden back soon, who we badly missed at the end of last year.

As others have said, get past Chelsea, then look at it after a run of games that are winnable, instead of looking at useless stats which span two seasons, such as "lost 10 of the last 11 in the prem".

And yet eagles had our best effort on goal and scored a screamer in midweek. Probably the reason he is a premiership footballer and the rest of us are getting pissed on a Saturday.

but hes not premiership quality

He's a premiership because of coyle, not because he's a decent player.

To be fair though, he was only brought in as backup to chungy (I hope)

I don't think that's a decision that can be made after only a handful of games, most against the top 6. Let's see how he fares in october first.

Wheater struggles for pace and is so prone to commiting fouls as such. That today was not even a foul and a joke of a sending off.

Once again fans of Bolton Wanderers have had to suffer because of cheating over paid tossers like last weeks and now Walcott.

It`s time we fans had a bigger say because without the fans football will suffer. I`ve simply had enough of all this cheating and conning of refs I feel like throwing my team card in the fuckin brook. I love the club I support but enough now is enough.

How many protests does it take to get over a message to the FA and Prem League that the same shite referees are being conned and cheating the fans and their clubs.

And before anyone begins to blame Jussi for conceeding a near post goal, give credit to Van Persie who was by far the best player on the pitch.

I do

He's shite.

You can tell that quite easily.

Lightweight, no pace, no actual skill, seriously no left foot.

I'm really not sure what he does have in his locker.

it was a foul and as such a red card.

Walcott is running at full whack it only take a little tug like Wheater did to send you crashing to the floor.
