  • An engine failed plane full of people could get behind a captain to rescue them whilst sticking together and praying for saviour, but it'll be very likely that the plane will still go down.

still no need to panic we will be fine its going to be a bottom half finish but we wont go down if we all stick together and get behind the team and ride this season thru. we have been in this positio

I know it's Sunday but your going to have to try harder than that pal!

Which ones are they?

I wonder if we will be able to call games in the Championship as winnable? who knows what players we'll have and what crap we'll be linked with to replace the ones who leave :cray:

we will have the youth team plus Robbie Blake on a zimmer

Bring on the Championship

Winable games sequence:

Wigan Won Sunderland lost Swansea Lost Stoke Won WBA lost

Won 2 and Lost 3 to similar clubs

Not great news is it. If this is what we were waiting for then the bad news is that these winable games are running out fast and we will soon be back to the 'absolutely no chance ones'.

Our only saving grace may be that the 3 lancs clubs and Wolves are all equally bad but only 3 can go.

What was the points haul from the equivalent matches last year?

I think we're ahead aren't we?

Stoke are not looking too good at the moment as well

I'm not quite understanding the relevance of this.

Given that they are part of a winnable sequence..... I think we did better than last years equivalent..... so what made it a winnable sequence this year?

And Blackpool did really well till later in the season.

And we need 3 teams to do worse than us.

Stats tell me fuck all.

We need to play better. It's that simple.

Your right, we do need to play better.

We also need to equal or better last years results, which we are. The worry is where are the West Ham & Brum points of last year going to come from?

Then we will be OK!

I'll be OK when you learn how to spell 'winnable'.

still no need to panic we will be fine its going to be a bottom half finish but we wont go down if we all stick together and get behind the team and ride this season thru. we have been in this position before as a club and there will be sadly many years that we will be in similar but we have the experience and know how to drag our selves thru

I'm only going to start to worry when the cap between us and the rest get to 4 - 6 points. as long as we are not losing ground I believe we will keep our heads in the run in more than the teams around us

A brave call that and I hope your right.

or the passengers could all eat the captain to stay alive in the hope of survival.

Nice one Glossop. No surrender.

Some would have you believe we have no hope. We will end up somewhere between 10th and 14th. KTF.

even though we drew at West Brom last year?

the only hope I have of this at the moment is the fact that Villa, in 8 are "only" 6 points ahead

got to look at the table from a points/games/gaps point of view, because if we look at us and our overall performances, it doesn't inspire confidence

Need a win on Saturday, as we'll get fk all at spurs the week after

current form sees us taking 8-10 games to get those 6 points

we'll be into the 'no point even trying' games by then

aye, this is what we've got coming up, before the Utd game and repeat of our "tough start":

Bolton v Everton

Tottenham v Bolton

Bolton v Aston Villa

Fulham v Bolton

Blackburn v Bolton

Bolton v Newcastle

Bolton v Wolverhampton

Everton v Bolton

we have to win AT LEAST half of them I reckon just to keep in touch with the relegation scrap
