Playing at Newcastle

Both Sam Ricketts and Sean Davis will be playing.

It'll be like two new signings.

Unless they're not quite ready to play, as was the case with Holden.

Even fully fit, are they actually any better than what were running with at the min? Think not

Sam Ricketts Yes, Sean Davis well none of us can comment on that

both limping off inside half hour especially the latter

Ricketts is the best fit right back and left back we've got.

He's also our 2nd best centre half.

Coyle's going to play him in central midfield next week!

Just what I was going to put.

Ricketts is the best right-back we've got.

Sean Davis was once upon a time (and not for us) a good solid midfielder. However, having been a cripple for the last 2 years who knows. Probably better than Pratley still. :pardon:

Both would be straight in the team when fit.

i do hope Davis comes through this :good:

Yep good luck to them, it would be a very welcome boost to the squad and maybe the end for Steinsson.

One could argue that during the whole of his treatment he's been better than Pratley.

game kicks off in 3 mins

Horwich's prediction - NUFC 3 BWFC 0

Tom Eaves is also back for this one after his leg break. Not that he'll be challenging the 1st team (Doubtful anyway) but good luck to them all!!

Prediction - Newcastle 3-1 Bolton

is it wrong to be more excited bout this match than saturdays :D

1-0 AT HT

Any injuries?

1:1 final score, O'Halloran equalising for us. Davis stretchered off just after half time..........

Seriously?

Seriously?

He probably means as opposed to Ricketts and Eaves who had to limp off.

Seriously?

He was subbed at half time

I always rated Davis when he played against us for Portsmouth. A really neat player on the ball who can pick out a pass. Remember when we lost ?1-0 to them in spring 2009 he ran the midfield. If he can get Premier League fit, he brings badly needed craft to the team as well as experience.

What ever happened to that young right back Riley? I thought he would be nocking on Capello's door after a place on the plane by now.

Injured

Injured

Who Riley? Davis? Rickets? Eaves? Or all 4 of them
