Fat Club

A good friend of mine passed away recently and has given me a kick up the arse to be a bit healthier.

I've started to watch what I eat and haven't had a beer for nearly 2 months.

However, as I was pouring my bowl of Fruit and Fibre this morning I glanced at the calorie content, a large bowl would have the same calories and a sausage barm.

Am I missing something? Whats the point?

More to do with intake of fat / sat fat / sugars from my understanding.

I have lost 3stone over the last couple of years through a mixture of diet and exercise. Need to do both to get the best benefit, the trainer at my gym is an advocate of eating 5/6 small 500cal meals per day. Slow and steady so you are never full but giving your body the energy it needs to excersise without your body burning muscle.

Well I put 3 stone last night 5 pints of Good elf in the Golden cup and 2 steak pies and 1 meat and potatoe, thats what I call a balanced diet. :)

I've become a reet fat twat in the last couple of years due to constantly being injured one way or another and not changing my diet. I tried in bits and bobs to diet but weekends and hungover times combined with lack of time to prepare during busy times at work ruined any major attempt

Broken ribs should be healed by the new year and I've realised there's no half measures so I'm going full shebang

Good planning will be the key I reckon!

You didn't 'elaborate' my point, you made a completely different point about how you shouldn't eat fruit to excess, even though no-one was suggesting you should.

Can we give this mon his own forum to avoid this sort of thing?

Ha ha, it'll be a fair while until you'll be able to say that

I've heard Shredded Wheat is the healthiest cereal, as there's no added salt or sugar.

Porridge man myself. Might be having it for tea as well after Christmas.

I walk 5/6 miles each weekday but let myself down at weekends. I love my beer & takeaways too much.

Dietary advice or an exercise regime?

The former I don't need: I'll just listen to the wife.

If it's an exercise routine Iamin, please PM me with a routine I can do at home.

The image of me and Big E turning up at his house in matching Lycra outfits seems to have scared Frandsen off.

He's not been on since 23/12.

Reet, im starting the gym today.

I wont be changing what I eat much, just adding excersize and having rice instead of chips with my Curry !

Any update on the Frandsen's Fatties club ? Can we join this fan club, do we get weekly pictures as updates of the ladies in this club??

45 mins cardio in the works gym, with 15 mins in the Sauna 3 or 4 times a week will do me.

I have gone and got myself one of these.
