Blackburn are from the same county as Chorley so i'd say they have more affiliation to them than Bolton.

To anyone under 40, Bolton has officially been lumped in with the Manchester slum rather than Lancashire so the natural non league club to follow is Radcliffe now Horwich/Leigh are dead.

Radcliffe is nearer to Bolton than Chorley and also part of the Manchester slum.

Do Bolton fans turn up with bedsheets against Bolton and singing Bolton songs?

Bolton is in lancs

Butterfly, do put your rod away.

Greater manchester? Never heard of such a place.

I live in the Bolton Borough, albeit the border, and Chorley is 5 miles away.

Blackburn is14-15 miles away from Chorley. Just don't rise to it, Homer. :D

Anyway, as you say, didn't they just go in their jogging bottoms to whine about the Venky's rather than support a struggling club?

Edited by no balls

No its still there. Welcolme Neighbour :give_rose:

Reet, if I'm not working and the whites ain't playing it's Radcliffe for me, you've just made my mind up. C69 should support them considering the logistics :)

Soz Salford but I was born in Lancashire and right in the middle of our town hall square is the rose of Lancashire what confirms it :)

15 miles that for me. Bit of a treck & it's Bury isn't it? They love Bolton fans

1300 on apparently

usually get about 800-900

Most probably North Ferriby fans, Im not having it that Blackburn can take 500 away.

did nt chorley suggest they went along?

An appeal by the group on Facebook has also asked fans to back the appeal fund to save Chorley from going into administration.
Chorley chairman Ken Wright said: "Obviously we would welcome anything that would increase our home crowd."
But he added: "Obviously we don't want to be involved in the dispute at Blackburn.

Why have Blackburn fans started dressing like they're goingbto Stockport Grammar School

Is it like the DMB's and their Norwich scarves?

Blackburn fans started it as a way to support flitcroft/jansens club. They werent goin to newcastle so decided to help out a struggling team managed by one of their heroes.

Nowt wrong with that imo

I was born in Bolton - I am a Boltonian

Bolton was (and in my opinion still is) in Lancashire - I am Lancastrian

Lancashire is in England - I am English

As far as I'm concerned you can stick your Greater Manchester and Europe were the sun doesn't shine.

They're planning to go back to Chorley on 28th Jan v Stafford apparently.

Must've enjoyed themselves.

We'll take anybodys money at Athy Colls

greater manchester was disbanded years back

bolton is lancashire

The council was abolished in 1986 but the metropolitan county has continued to exist in law and as a geographic frame of reference. So legally it is still Bolton, Greater Manchester I am afraid,

Meaningless
