Moreover, until he goes Coyle's footballing ethos will not come to fruition- every fucker just wangs it up to him; look at his England cap- as soon as he comes on, Ferdinand- supposedly a football playing centre half starts twatting it back to front. Wouldn't use him in Championship either- he'll be another year old and still past it. He's got his England cap, a legacy of being almost unplayable at his peak (physically) and is still massively respected by the majority of our fans for the part he has played in our recent history. I can't see Coyle giving him a new contract even if we go down and it would not be right seeing him turn out for Bury, Preston or whoever.

Yeah but robbie Blake tells some really good jokes on the team bus, not sure if the same can be said about kevin I wouldn't offer him a new contract either way All in all he's been great for us and vice versa but there comes a time to move on

He was ace and he isn't ace any more, but he still deserves a modicum of respect, surely?

He seems gone as a player at this level, but thats time and its Owen's fault for not seeing it earlier. Even then. he isnt as blind as the guy I sat next to at the Wolves game, who was all for playing Davies at centre half.
