Parking At Tesco

I always park at Tesco in Horwich when I go to the football .... unless it's nice weather. Junior is only 5, so it's a bit of a long walk for her. I've never had a ticket, and was quite pleased when the new "3 hour parking" signs went up a few months ago.

Just been up, and someone has been round with some post-it notes, and changed the 3 hours to 1 1/2 hours.

I'll still be parking there, as they have very limited options as far as recoving any money from the fine/invoice that they issue.

I just thought that I would warn people, in case you get up there, and decide not to stay.

if i dont get away before the buses set off,it adds 30 mins on to my journey....

park on the A6 and get the bus then :)

but don't claim you are wanting to get away when it is clear you don't want to pay. loads of better option than tesco.

not back to Horwich there isn't, if you want to park at the ground

FC Dordrecht is the local one but their fans are a bit fucking mental like and it is a ballache of a walk so i go and watch NAC Breda. It is the next city south and is a student town. Absolutely bouncing in the centre. They play at 7.45pm on a sat night. few saturday beers for the prem games, walk up to the game, miss kick off (obviously), get lashed in the stands, walk back into the town to sleeze on dutch fitties

3 hours to North wales, you need to get some round wheels on your car

Parked at Middlebrook for quite a few years now. No bother. Have tea and walk round shops with junior. Clear within 45 mins of the end of the game. No stress then straight onto motorway if you go cross country past barnstormers ;-)

We go to Scotts post match and get pissed to take away the pain of the match. By the time we leave, the roads round the Middlebrook are usually clear.

I would do but I can't risk drink driving as I would lose my job.

Had a good few months working in Breda, happy days! Loved the square for a few beers and the obligatory Irish bar...
