February 26, 201214 yr Clarkson once referred Bolton Wanderers to a car they were reviewing. Cant remember what it was, but he seemed to like it. Edited February 26, 201214 yr by bwfcdan

February 26, 201214 yr used to love it. now i want to smash all 3 of their faces in with a tin of big soup. that is all. That's strange, I was flicking through the channels t'other day and settled on Top Gear, normally something I'd watch - they were fucking about modifying wheelchairs, invalidity scooters etc. Anyway, I watched it for about 10 minutes until this irrational (I thought at the time) and sudden rush of hatred and bile toward them welled up inside me... I got up, turned it off at the box and vowed never to watch it again. Finally past their sell by date perhaps? Edited February 26, 201214 yr by Youri McAnespie
February 26, 201214 yr It more than just a car review show now. It appeals the a wider audience. Ok sometimes it's a bit ridiculous but it's entertaining at the very least. And there's always a decent segment in each show. The Saab thing today was very informative. It's a million times better than any other car show on telly. Although there's not much choice granted. The specials usually are nothing short of brilliant. When they stop making top gear, it will be a sad day IMO.

February 26, 201214 yr Fifth has tried to reinvent itself so many times it's pathetic Top gear has a formula that works People slag it off but 5m viewers and 400m worrldwide for a car show is astonishing Edited February 26, 201214 yr by HomerJay
February 26, 201214 yr It used to be enjoyable, but now they're all rich enough to get their own garage to fuck about with and not use BBC money. Up there with Graham Norton with wasting licence fee money & Soccer AM with just letting it go.
February 26, 201214 yr Clarkson once referred Bolton Wanderers to a car they were reviewing. Cant remember what it was, but he seemed to like it. So somebody in the office writes Clarksons lines then? He openly admits to knowing nothing about football.
February 27, 201214 yr Maybe auntie's got cold feet about letting them off the leash these days, it all seems a bit tame and as if yes, it is scripted and passed by the solicitors, censors, thought police and bedwetting liberals. Doesn't seem they can say what they'd like to anymore just because a few morons take their remarks (mainly Jezzas) literally rather than in context and at that, with a pinch of salt. I preferred it when they were sillier and spent more cash as it was more entertaining. This series has been fairly boring in comparison with anything they've done in the past 5 years previous but like most have said, they won't pull it as it's worth a packet and no, there's not much on the telly otherwise all week so I always watch it. Pramface is good too though.....

If thats still the case, then no matter how contrived its become, it ain't going nowhere.
February 27, 201214 yr Me too, fuckin loved it. 9-3 sport wagon next I checked autotrader straight after that programme for 9-3 sport wagons. Very tasty and cheap as chips
February 27, 201214 yr So somebody in the office writes Clarksons lines then? He openly admits to knowing nothing about football. Probably, couldnt give a shit either way.
February 27, 201214 yr So somebody in the office writes Clarksons lines then? He openly admits to knowing nothing about football. He said on the show that he got into football a couple of years ago now. Someone took him on a comp to Chelsea with his son and he loved it.
