Wife now wants a bet on it. What are it's chances? I wouldn't be in a rush to lump on, anyway. Decent enough sort over this minimum 2 mile trip, but has struggled of late. Has also never run on any ground worse than Good To Soft: the ground is already declared as heavy and it's going to be wetter than a spastic's chin.. Onec they've run two races, you don't get your money back and this from Clerk of the course Kirkland Tellwright doesn't fill me with confidence: "There's more rain to come - around 15mm - but we will make a start and hope to complete the meeting.Hopefully we'll be OK." Aye, I might need some! I'd backed the 4th placed horse at 12/1 E/W as my SotD blog pick. It had 3rd sewn up in fairness, but made a proper mess of the last fence to let yours in. Sods Law prevailed. Still it's a 10% return for little effort, if you're following these. Had Majuro not got caught on the line, we'd have got another 5.63pts back.
