If Something Good Can Come Out Of This

yes footballers are overpaid

yes, many are way out of touch with reality

but, theyre just like us when it comes down to it

pratley, absolutely, totally distraught seeing his team mate

miyachi, way too young to be stood watching...and watch he did....dunno if he was in shock

steinnson - shaking on the touchline

davies jumping in the ambulance cos thats what davies does

reo coker

in fact, all of em, not least coyle and garty

nobody has been more critical of coyle and some of his signings, but fcuking hell, these are our lads

when we get them back, i'll be showing them what they mean to me - even if they are shit :)

come on whites...lets come back stronger than ever

  • Hopefully as well this incident will make a few of our fans grow up. Maybe some will think before singing about aeroplanes or dead chairmen.

  • I think this is a game-changer for football   Bolton Wanderers will now be different, but we don't yet know how

  • Imagine if this had been an opposition player at The Reebok and we had those twonks on the drum doing that ridiculous cheat chant.

I still can't believe he's got an A Level in French when it's his native language.

I'd suggest the majority of Boltonians would fail English.

Probably at 11+, O-level and A-level ............ if they got that far and if those levels still existed.

Anyway, keep fighting, Fab. You can get through this.

My main gripe with Mrs KD is that she can't keep her mouth shut and her nose of stuff that doesn't involve her.

However, apart from the irrelevant inclusion of Vernon Kay, that was a decent piece from her.

Hopefully it won't be another 9yrs before the next one.

Ive been proud of Wanderers since before 2001 as well I might add!

I hope that we (Spurs) and you lot hold a pre-season match every year from now on and donate every penny to the chest hospital. Maybe even whack Deaner as the lino!

get Dr Deaner as the ref haha

get Dr Deaner as the ref haha

Would love to see that :D

Then he'd not be a hero anymore.

You've not thought this one through lads. :D

Well said Cas.

When one of your own goes down it does make you think more deeply. Yes - Owen Coyle, Phil Gartside, the club captain and the club have conducted themselves exceptionally well through this very tough time. Also the 36,000 that were there that night, the medics, the players and the London Heart Hospital. And not forgeting the ESPN coverage, or none coverage, on the night. Being beamed live across the world the last thing anyone wants to see is a young man fighting for his life on a football pitch. In fact I find it very difficult to find fault in anything that has accured since Saturday night. I'm proud that the footballing world has united on this. And because it's our club at the centre of the this It has made me feel very humble indeed. It has also made me proud to be a football fan, and especially a Bolton fan.

Well done to everyone.

With Coyle, Gartside and Davies having gone to the hospital, I'd be interested to know who to the lead amongst the players and staff left behind.

Someone must have done the whole soothing words and encouragement and tried to keep the players going even if only to take a shower and get changed.

Sandy, NRC and Jussi I'd imagine, but its something Ive been wondering since Saturday.

Didn't SKD come back up to Bolton in time for their first training session? Can imagine he and Robbie Blake (both qualified coaches now, I believe) and Coyle's staff. All the other coaches will have come back to Bolton anyway. Plus there is the reserves coach and Sammy Lee. I'm sure we're covered

Desmond Douglas, Phil Taylor & Tony Knowles took charge of training.
