April 6, 201214 yr I'd say 8 is perfect I priced it up and it was 5k minimum which is a lot if fucking money in my book for a holiday. So at least at that age they would get plenty out if it. And they'd remember it. Holiday of a lifetime stuff IMO. You can do Paris fir half the cost but is it the same? I've been told its very good but remain unconvinced. April 6, 201214 yr I've had the misfortune of visiting all 3. Florida is by far the better one, although we enjoyed the French one (it helped that the weather was lovely) - it is expensive though,you can do ?2000 - 3000 in 5 days.

Never, never, never Paris I have been asked this question so many times Sod the miserable , robbing French Florida is the only place to do Disney It's 100% full on The staff are great and friendly, the weather doesn't let you down The prices are ok, just get a good deal on where you stay, Sack the international drive hotel/motel, Hire a villa with pool, most sleep 6/8 3/4 days in Disney is enough , do not buy 14 day pass and definitely do one day in seaworld , you can generally do a special which allows you to do two days for price of one The kids will love 1 day Disney, 3 day pool, I day disney , 3 days pool Remember it's a holiday not a marathon, and a Disney park is 12-14 hrs minimum if you want to see /do everything Also, never too young/ never too old I've see an 18 month old mesmerised with the princesses, and a 60 year old cry at the parade A day at beach, and a day at Cape Kennedy for older kids Silver springs is a good cheap day , although you will need a car and a picnic Cocoa beach is great, another picnic day,, gator world is dear but well worth a visit Lego land , well worth a visit An afternoon in Florida mall for the ladies that shop, and loads of good restaurants , cheap and cheerful , or elegant dining IMO avoid Indian or English, stick with what they do best All Chinese, Japanese, American , mexicanwe have visited have been good If you love crab , fish, lobster,salads they are the masters! 14 days, easy on the purse, easy , relaxed holiday Baseball games are cheaper than basketball Most restaurants are kid friendly, tho can be expensive Breakfast at home, pack a lunch, then eat out in the evenings Best holiday ever, been doing it for 12 years Sorry answer the question!!! best time to go, early May before the flying bugs, late september No queues in parks! April 8, 201214 yr 8 is a good age to go to Disney World. A good time of year to go - September is the best. Quietest and cheapest time of the year and the heat isn't horrific. Avoid the obvious like Xmas, Easter, Summer holidays and any American public holiday as these times are so busy it just isn't worth the trip. Staying in Disney World itself will cost an arm and a leg. I usually stay south International Drive as its quiet there but within a bus ride of everywhere you need. A pint in Disneyland Paris is about ?8. A cooked breakfast is about ?20. Its stupid.

Admittedly this is 12 years old, but I’ve taken the plunge and booked the family to go next month for a couple of weeks. The travel agent I’ve used has prepared me for the eye-watering prices by pulling my pants down before I’ve even got to the airport.
